   (NOTE: Another John DOUGLAS - perhaps this is the one that your notes
    identify as d. ca 186x; however, I suspect that whoever did the
    research confused this John with the John DOUGLAS of Lee Township
    (that is, if I have correctly identified John DOUGLAS of Lee Twp as
    your DOUGLAS).  Of course, a check of probate records and land
    records should resolve the Johns.   I wonder if the Harris Cemetery
    DOUGLASes are related to the Barnes Cemetery (Lee Twp) DOUGLASes.
    Perhaps Jane DOUGLAS of Barnes Cem is John's second wife -- even
    though the dates for George DOUGLAS's death (above) doesn't
    quite check out with this theory -- he would have been born too late
