I have 15,000 Deans indexed. Mostly New England, as my Grandpappy was a Yankee from Iowa, with roots in VT, MASS & CONN. I found several Mary E. DEANs in my file, one married to a Major Elhanan, another to a Hiram. But most of may records are prior to 1900. Anyone who has New England DEANs could send me what info they had, I would send what I have on that branch. But here is a try at answering: Roswell BLAIR married Ann R. DEAN in Western (now Warren), Mass. on 11 Jan. 1832. Flavia BLAIR married Horatio DEAN 7 Nov 1835 in Western. Daniel BLAIR married Betsy MOORE in Western on 9 April 1801 James MOORE was a neighbor of the BLAIR farm in Worcester, Mass. in 1751. In 1726, Nathaniel MOORE was a neighbor of the same BLAIR farm. However, if your question dealt with our Book BBS, we have 10 books detailing MOORE genealogies or family histories, but none for DEAN. You can obtain the details of the MOORE books by dialing your modem to 703-883-2520 (or 2529). Please let me know if I've failed to respond to your question, or if you have additional questions. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Miller on 4 Mar 1904 in Tacoma. Albert came to Roy, WA with his mother and 2 brothers, the story being that his father had died during the Civil War. His father was John Edward Dean, b 1832 (?) Berkly, Bristol Co., Mass. His mother was Joanna Murpy, b. 1 Jan 1834 NY - d 19 Oct 1916 Tacoma. Albert & mother & brothers came to Roy, WA by wagon train, possibly in the 1860's or 1880's. They established honesteads near Roy and the family's of the original Thomas Dean. Am now looking for proof of a possible connection to the Thomas Dean clan - it looks like a very large family. Thomas Dean came from Somerset England with wife Emily and sons Thomas Aubrey (b 1832 England, d 24 Oct 1913) and George (no info on him at this time). Any info would be helpful. Also, Albert's brother left Roy and went back to Providence RI - James Henry Dean b 19 Oct 1855 d 17 Nov 1923, wife was Pauline. Help with info on James would also be appreciated. p.s.
