and Kenosha County, Wisconsin, 1892.
 
Lines 8-12 are confirmed by vital records of Wisconsin.
 
In line 6, Mordecai and Patience had a daughter Rebecca
CHASE born about 1793 at White Creek, Washington County,
NY. She was probably named after her paternal grandmother
Rebecca MOSHER in line 5.
 
I do not have proof that this Rebecca CHASE was the one
who married Benjamin BURGESS Sr. of Hoosick, NY. Following
is the circumstantial evidence that I have pieced together
so far to make the connection:
 
a. Benjamin and Rebecca named their children Sylvia,
Nehemiah, Benjamin Jr., Alonzo, Joel, Patience, and Julia.
 
b. Rebecca had a sister named Sylvia, a brother Nehemiah,
and a brother Joel. She also had a mother named Patience.
Only the names of Alonzo and Julia are unmatched to
earlier generations.
 
c. Benjamin BURGESS Sr. was given land in White Creek, NY
in about 1817 by his father Benajah BURGESS.
 
d. Benjamin BURGESS of Hoosick, NY did marry a Rebecca
CHASE. They lived in nearby Bennington, VT.
 
e. Hoosick, NY., White Creek, NY., and Bennington, VT. are
geographically close to each other.
 
I am seeking proof of the connection between line 6 and 7.
