In 1842, JAMES H. and MARGARET WIN BURDSALL moved to Indiana, and established a farm in Jackson County. A son, ASA, was born to them there on March 22, 1842. He had two sisters, LAURA and LUCINDY. During or shortly after the Civil War, JAMES and MARGARET WIN BURDSALL moved to Green County, Indiana, near Lyons, where they remained until their deaths.
