BISSELL - GROTON, CT by Margaret Hough Sun Jul 26 1992 ------------------------------- I expect to have one, maybe two, evenings free in Groton, CT next week. My desire is to head out with my camera to take pictures of all the BISSELL places I can find before it gets dark. Expect the Bissell Bridge to be marked on the map. Want to see also the place where the old BISSELL Ferry operated - same place as bridge? Now the hard part - how will I find old cemeteries in New London, Hebron, and Windsor? Is there a historical library which should be my first stop in order to find where the old resting places might be? Any recommendation for finding a detailed map? I'll be driving to Groton from PA, so won't have an opportunity to pick up a map from a car rental place unless I head for the airport just to get a map. Should I? Any other recommendations for a first time, and limited time, visit? You can call collect if you like - 717-766-1119. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
