  GUIRE kids (Mary): Luke
     I don't know which of these kids came under the care of Stephen
SHERWOOD and Mary ADAMS.  Of course the SHERWOODs but maybe also some
of the latest GALPINs.
 
 
Mary ADAMS b.abt.1647, d.abt.Apr.1712 Fairfield, CT (daug. of Edward
Adams d.1671 Fairfield, CT) m1.1663 Luke GUIRE (GUYER or WIRE), m2.
_______ MERWIN, m3. Stephen SHERWOOD.  Her kids were Luke GUIRE and
maybe another son. She listed her grandkids (and no kids) in her Will.
 
Edward ADAMS of New Haven by 1640, Milford 1646, Fairfield 1650,
d.1671.  Married Mary ___ d.1687, who m2. Anthony BEERS d.ca.1679.
Kids were Samuel -1693/4, Mary 1647-1712 (m1.GUIRE, m2.MERWIN,
m3.SHERWOOD), Abraham 1650-1729, Nathaniel <1656-<1693, John
>1656-1693, and Nathan >1656-1748/9.

My Adams line has been limited to the Connecticut - New York area.  I do 
not of any that moved out of the area before abt.1930. As for those in New 
England, I have traced as far back as Alfred ADAMS, b. ca 1814, his son, 
Augustus Alfred ADAMS b. 1834 in Stamford, CT, and his daughter, Mary Jane 
ADAMS-Stottler.  A third cousin of mine thinks that Alfred may be a son or 
grandson of the Nathan ADAMS that James Davis mentioned. I do not know yet.

complete information, or if you know more I would appreciate any h Let me
