Welcome to Conner's Hotel & Beach Club!
If you've come to this site you've probably been to Conner's Beach Club at one time or another.  Conner's is gone now.  All that remains is a parking lot for the high speed ferry that goes to New York.  The ferry uses the old dock as a departure point.

As you can see, people have been visiting this site in the year since we first started.  We still want to receive photographs and the like to put on the site. (Please be advised that all submissions of photographs, and especially "stories" will be subject to a suitability review and vetted for veracity by the winner of the 1962 Bungalow Day Outstanding Female Athlete Award.)  If we can get people to participate a little, this could be fun.

Suggestions for topics:
The Hotsy-Totsy tree; the pool bar; movie night at the tennis court; how many boats sank at the dock and why; that stupid ram; the reverse only truck; Cockeyed Harry and Schlitz; Sunday Softball; suicide hill; should we really have eaten all those clams from the sandbar; etc.

If you'd like to submit a photo for the site, send it as an attachment or e-mail us at
[email protected]

Of course, our friends from Mount Mitchell and Gravelly Point are welcome, too.  We hear there is a web-site for Gravelly.  If you know where it is, please e-mail us.

Please feel free to sign our Guestbook or e-mail us at
[email protected] with any comments or suggestions.
