May Contain Naked Iguanas Participating in Carnal Activities
Ever wonder where baby iguanas come from?  Does the stork bring them?
Noooo.  They
mate, but the female is only receptive to a male for a short time each year.
If he gets *lucky* and she lays eggs
that are fertilized,
they don't just automatically hatch
into cute babies.
The eggs must be carefully
incubated.
Click
here to see a detailed diary of
newly hatched iglets.
Mother iguanas generally don't have maternal instincts and will ignore the eggs
after they are laid.

Henry Lizardlovers "
Mom and the Baby",
are the exception.
