Zoink Productions Limited is a venture devoted to B-Movie, Cult and Exploitation Fans to provide quality DVD/RW material for the viewing pleasure of our customers.
2.) WHAT DOES ZPL OFFER?
Zoink Productions Limited offers high quality (or, at least, the highest quality we can offer at any given time) DVD+R format Fan Copies of obscure and/or long out-of-print films not otherwise available in the DVD format elsewhere. Currently, the DVD+R format is the easiest for us to produce, but steps are being taken to begin providing discs in the DVD-R and possibly the VCD format in the near future,to accommodate those who have players that either do not support the +R format, or simply wish to purchase either of the other two.
3.) WHAT EXACTLY IS A "FAN COPY"?
Basically, it's pretty self-explainitory....a Fan Copy is recorded video material transferred (or "dubbed") from a one source material format (pre-recorded manufacturers retail "software", i.e, "official" DVD and or VHS) to another copy, and sold at cost (price of materials and shipping/handling). Made by Fans for other Fans. We here at ZPL do not endorse or condone the act of video media piracy or "bootlegging". Our goal is to help share our love of the material with other like-minded individuals who are not fortunate enough to otherwise have access to the media we offer. This is why we stress to offer video media in the DVD format that :
a.) Does not have an "Official Manufacturer's Release" for whatever respective reasons, and...
b.) Is Public Domain material, and free for use by anyone.
Should an "official" release of any of the titles we offer come about, it is our intentions to immediately halt production of said material and make it no longer available for order.
