| This "bench" came homemade with our boat and is made of plywood and lined with thick rubber foam for noise reduction (helps somewhat). It weights about 10 lb. There is a hole for the outboard motor tiller, so you can adjust the throttle. Tiller of outboard is not movable. It makes a nice seating area, but it is very hard to reach the motor to put it in reverse while steering the boat. For this (docking, for example) I have to remove it and set it aside . We also do not put cushions on it - we don't bother and they would fall overboard, anyway. |
