Hydraulic Turbine

                        This is a reaction turbine - Pressure water from a dam enter and leaves the turbine at the same flow rate and produces consequently a huge reaction force with sufficient power to rotate one or more high-power electric generators. It has also the great advantage of preventing the waste of even a single water drop.

        Our turbines are not subject to harmful effects from cavitation phenomenon, like traditional Francis, Kaplan and Pelton turbines used in Brazil and worldwide.

        That terrific cavitation phenomenon destroys the aforementioned traditional turbines and causes inestimable losses to electric power production companies, and consequently affects the whole mankind. See link below:

Technical characteristics:

 - Easy installation and maintenance.
- Reduced weight and volume.
- Cavitation-free.
- High efficiency (92%).
- Low cost.
- Reduces markedly the time of implantatiion of hydraulic projects.
- Reduced manufacture period (60 days). <
- Meets any electric power needs (1 KW tooo 1.5 GW).
- Can be made of any material as resistannnt as steel or better.
- Has full speed control.
- Works with 3 to 3,000-m high head of waaater.
- Works in both vertical and horizontal ppposition.

                                              Horizontal Hydraulic Turbine

                                                                                               Power : 1 KW to 1.5 GW

Vertical Hydraulic Turbine

                                                  Power : 1 KW to 1.5 GW

Advantages of our turbine over Francis turbines used by hydroelectric plants of Itaipú-Brazil \ Paraguay (1981), Three Gorges in China (1991), and Grand Coulee II in Columbia River (USA /73 ).

 1. Mechanically, our turbine discards:

· The use of 117-ton suction pipe;
· The 600-ton spiral box;
· The 425-ton pre-distributor;
· The 85-ton lower ring;
· 180-ton driving blades ;
· The 300-ton wheel or turbine itself;
· The 279-ton sealing cover;
· The 480-ton turbine operation and control mechanism;
· The 56-ton operation ring;
· 3-ton servomotors;

  2. No blades are used, thus dismissing short and medium-term maintenance, free from cavitation at any speed.

   3. Different from Francis turbines, our turbine works satisfactorily at flow rates between 1 L/sec and 1 million L/sec, under head of water between 3-m and 3,000-m high, with capacity for electric power production of some 1.5 GW.

Advantages or our turbine over Kaplan turbines used by water tidal facility of
La Rance, in France (1957), and the hydroelectric plant of Satarow in Volga River, Russia (1965):

1. Mechanically our turbine discards:

2. Different from Kaplan turbines, our turbine works satisfactorily at flow rates between 1 L/sec and 1 million L/sec, under head of water between   3-m and 3,000-m high, with capacity for electric power production of some 1.5 GW.

Advantages of our turbine over Pelton turbines used in Henry Borden, Cubatão - SP (1930) , Monte Cerusio, Italy (1966), Silz, Austria (1980), and Bieudron, Switzerland hydroelectric plants.

1. Mechanically, our turbine discards:

2. Different from Pelton turbines. The startup and braking in out turbine do not need opening and closing jet nozzles, which are very slow and likely to damage the whole system under emergency conditions. Also, different from Pelton turbines, our turbine works satisfactorily at flow rates between         1 L/sec and 1 million L/sec, under head of water between 3-m and 3,000-m high, with capacity for electric power production of some 1.5 GW.

Conclusion:

                We can therefore conclude that our hydraulic turbine advantageously replaces higher-power Kaplan, Pelton and Francis turbines constructed to date, used in Itaipú and Three Gorges (China) hydroelectric plants.
