
Funcionamento :
When
fed with hydrogen, the temperature of exhaustion gases of this turbine is as
high as 3,500ºC, allowing the turbine to provide individually an electric power
of 1.5 GW.
Under single cycle conditions (aeroderived), it works at very high
efficiency (>35%) for both propulsion (airplanes, ships, buses, trucks, etc.)
and low, medium and high-output electric power production to fully meet the new
concepts and distributed generation systems.
Under
combined cycle conditions, where the production of heat + electricity is
obtained, this turbine works at very high efficiency (>90%) and meets the
needs of small and large industrial cogeneration system. Because it meets any
power demand in the range of 1 KW to 1.5 GW, this turbine is ideal to replace
existing reactors of large nuclear electric power production plants that active
installed in a number of developed countries notwithstanding their respective
populations' complaints.
