SEATTLE 09/25/02 |
Since we (Dave, Sam, Jimmy and I) all had a day off that day, we decided to do something with it. The first thing we thought of was a road trip. Going to Kamloops to watch the Canucks' training camp wasn't in the cards because of the 6 hr drive, so a 2 hr drive to Seattle made more sense. After painfully exchanging our hard-earned Canadian dollars for the gold bullion that are US dollars, we started up the car and took off...eh. |

As you can see, Sam wasn't as excited about the trip as some of the others. He actually woke up momentarily to take off that sweater before heading off to snoozeland. |

After a longer-than-usual drive which included a stopover in Bellingham and a 1st time visit to a gun shop for me (it was cleverly disguised as a 'sporting goods store'), we arrived in Seattle and the famous Needle. |

As you can see, Jimmy was quite impressed. |
