LIVE AT RED ROCKS-BOUKMAN EKSPERYANS: I recently attnded a performance by this group in Connecticut. As I have loved this incredible band since my first exposure I was excited to see them live. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen. I believe this is their first live album and is almost the same show they did in Connecticut ( I bought it at the show ). At the Red Rocks concert the band did not have the vodou drums ( the core instruments in their music ) they only had the large maman drum. The drums that they were able to borrow were latin conga drums. Bwa Gris the drummer promised to draw the sounds of vodou from the congas. "Onstage the miracle happened: we were happy and the public was even happier. All were dancing and yelling with us AYIBOBO! AYIBOBO!".
KALFU DANJERE-BOUKMAN EKSPERYANS: This one has been a favorite for a while and I have listened to it dozens- maybe hundreds of times and I'm still not tired of it!
VODOU ADJAE-BOUKMAN EKSPERYANS: I also listen to this one all the time. These folks have never made a bad CD.
REVOLISYON ( IMPORT )-BOUKMAN EKSPERYANS: I dont have this one but I'm sure they have never made a bad CD.
