Sable
mezzo sopraano
Sable began singing with a karoke machine that flashed the most classic of Chinese repertoire. Her classical music career began when she joined the Schola Cantorum choirs at Alberta College. Two years after, Sable soon joined the Cantilon Chamber choir and sang with them from 1999-2004. Sable has studied voice privately with Jennifer Beck and Svetlana Sech, but prefer's vocal ensembles over solo voice performances.

After completing the Cantilon program from singing with the Cantilon Chamber Choir, Sable is currently singing with the Edmonton women's choir: Belle Canto. Sable is currently pursuing a biological science degree at the University of Alberta.

When Sable's not singing with Con Fuoco, she can be found in lab doing field work, leading lab activities, kickboxing in the pavillion, and reading Harry Potter.

As one of Con Fuoco's numerous mezzo sopranos Sable enjoys filling in chords, experimenting with different vocal sounds, and unison singing.

Sable receives great satisfaction as amember of Con Fuoco because she enjoys the energetic and professional atmosphere that the group exhibits.  It is a great pleasure for her to be working with such an amazing and inspiring group of young musicians that possess the same outlook.
