Founded in August 2001 by five young Edmonton singers, Con Fuoco vocal quintet is quickly becoming a recognized chamber ensemble in the Edmonton music scene. The group's original intent was to perform only at the 2001 Edmonton Fringe Festival; the girls realized, however, the numerous growth opportunities of singing together and have continued since then. |

The members of Con Fuoco met each other in a local choral program where they began their musical training and developed their love for music at an early age.
Con Fuoco's repertoire encompasses a wide variety of musical styles including folk songs, sacred, madrigals, blues and gospel. The ensemble has performed at private functions, care facilities, church services and as guest artists with other Edmonton choirs. They can also be found carolling during the Christmas season. Throughout Con Fuoco's five years together, they have greatly enjoyed making music with each other and sharing their joy of music with others. |
