Having a majority community stateside as well as an ever increasing contact list of filmmakers and screenwriters based out of America and Canada we only had one option to help us deal with our new found popularity.
Due to a time-zone difference of 5-9 hours between Conflict Scripts, who were originally based in the UK only, and our cousins across the pond we felt it was time to form a second HQ outside of the UK to help deal with the general enquiries and forum contribution coming our way from across the Atlantic.
In April 2007 Conflict Scripts USA was established to deal with the ever increasing interest from America and it's official base at Myspace.com was launched:

�Conflict Scripts USA is great. There�s nothing like the multitude of porn and/or weiner growth pill requests that we get on a daily basis. Christine has assured me on various occasions that the girls in those ads do indeed have to shave every hair on their bodies in order to wear such trampy clothing. So, we obviously have to try and appeal more to the Sasquatch women out there. We don�t want to discriminate.
Also, we have already started to become quite popular with crowds of people who sell ipods and cellphone ringtones. They are all very friendly, as we get many requests from them, too. We�re even getting their msn screen names for further contacting them when needed. As if this isn�t cool enough, TRUE.com has started to show us webcam footage of the new friends we�ve made there�.the footage shows them writing on their laptops�we truly are gathering in all of the writers.
We also want to thank the people who keep making those games for us to play, as we should be on pace to get nearly 150 playstation 3�s and another 200 of the xbox 360�s by this Christmas. I mean, hey, they�re free!
��haha�.that was the joke version�.hehe�..now, for the real thing�.
Conflict Scripts USA is designed to take on North America as far as handling and gaining further writers � members to the forum. As Conflict Scripts began, it was a UK based forum � still is � but the members are from all over the world. To better relate to the members out of the USA, the new myspace page serves its main purpose.
The USA network of writers is huge, vast, countless if you will. So, now by branching off to handle the USA specifically, myself and Christine can cut down the time to find and speak personally to writers in our side of the world. Also, Christine and I can better deal with members on our continent because of the huge time zone difference between North America and Europe. We can more closely tend to members in our area in real time. Likewise, Conflict Scripts UK handles the European neck of the woods. When the time is right, other branches may split off, if anything just to handle the language barriers that we hope to eventually overcome.
Make no mistake. Conflict Scripts is here to stay, and I am positive that we will continue to increase our popularity and membership.�
After 3 years or so working with Duane and Christine it would seem that the motivation and will to make Conflict Scripts work worldwide are still both very strong.

�Serendipity is a concept in which I have little belief; however, it is one of two words I can use to describe my discovery of Conflict Scripts. The other is Fate. I should clarify my use of the word "discovery", for I do not wish to mislead anyone into thinking I had anything to do with the information of the entity - it was Stu's brainchild. Maybe "happened upon" would be a better choice of words.
The reason I am a part of Conflict Scripts is simple. You see, immediately upon my arrival, I felt I had a new family. I felt at home. They saw something in me I didn't believe was there. They read my little
tidbits of imagination and pushed me to write my first screenplay. I must say, I was quite pleased and surprised with the results. Their belief and support help me to grow a little each time I put a sentence down on paper.
I believe that one day Conflict Scripts will be a major name in the entertainment industry. Though we are spread across the world, we talk, develop, critique, and complement each other as if we are in the same room and have known each other all our lives. So vastly different, yet uncannily similiar. We have the dream, the desire and the drive to make it happen. I am here to contribute to the creativity of Conflict Scripts and to help spread the word that we are a force to be reckoned with.
Don't take my word for it, you don't know who I am - yet. Visit the site, read what we have done and you will see that the people at Conflict Scripts have a lot of wonderful and imaginative things to say, and say them in so many different ways.�
Hopefully with this mentality we can continue to deliver quality scripts and provide excellent feedback and encouragement to screenwriters not just from the UK and Europe but from America and Canada too. Who knows maybe one day we will be in position to expand our name across the globe.
