Dear Delegates,
1:
Regarding registration:
Some
delegates have requested to pay the registration fee directly at the PCGT
conference due to higher bank commission charges in transferring the money. The
committee has kindly agreed to accept Indian currency from foreign delegates
also. Please change your money
at Indira Gandhi International Airport either in Thomas Cook or State Bank of India bank.
These two banks are paying maximum exchange value for you. We
shall accept Indian Rupees at the same rate as you have got at Airport. In
countryside you will get less value so that it is advice to change your
currency at Indira Gandhi Airport.
2:
Regarding how to reach Jhansi, Central India.
From
Indira Gandhi International Airport you should take a Prepaid-Taxi for New Delhi Railway Station. From New Delhi Railway
station you must take Shatabdi
Express (Train No. 2001: departure 06.00 AM; arrival Jhansi at 10.40 AM). Tickets are available on the
same day from 5.00 AM at Shatabdi ticket counter (at
platform number 1) and on board the train you may buy a ticket from TTE also.
Jhansi
is well connected by trains from Delhi. For details of
connecting trains please look at http://www.indianrail.gov.in You may also buy a train ticket through internet.
3:
Do not hire a taxi from
Delhi to Jhansi (415 Kilometer) at any cost. Only a train is better option for
Jhansi from Delhi. If you missed the Shatabdi express then catch next train either from New
Delhi Railway station or from Nijamuddin Railway
station. Some other important train number and their timings are attached here (TRAIN NUMBERS).
