"I'll Remember You"

She asked if I'd remember,

As long a the river keeps flowing down to Mobil
As long as the leaves turn green in early spring
As long as the gentle rains fall on days of Summer
As long as the birds keep singing of loves refrain
That as long as I'll surely remember you

She asked if I'd forget.

When the rivers forget their way down to the ocean
washing the sands out in the bay
When the brown leaves of Fall forget to fall
making way for springs beautiful days
When the long hot days of Summer are no longer cooled
by the rains that come their way
and
when the birds no longer sing
as they do in early spring

Even then, I won't forget you!

Yes, she asked if I'd remember,
Yes, she asked if I'd forget
