The participants in this group photo consist mainly of members of my SCV camp--Eli P. Landers Camp No. 1724. We had just rendered a cannon salute with the Mountain Howitzer seen in the photo.

Marching for the Crew of the Hunley
A photographer in the crowd took this photo of my son and I marching in the funeral procession for the eight sailors of the CSS Hunley (NOTE: We're in the middle of the photo; me, white hat; Jeffrey, red kepi).

Charleston, South Carolina - 14 April 2004
We have just paid our respects to the crew of the CSS Hunley in this photo taken by a passerby. Left to right: Gustav Goetcsch, Steve Monk, unknown Confederate reenactor and my son Jeffrey Monk.

Georgia State Capitol - 1 April 2004
About 500 supporters of the 1956 Georgia flag held a flag march and rally, assembling inside the Rotunda of the state capitol. I am the Confederate officer with the white hat. My son, Jeffrey, stands to my immediate left, wearing a red kepi and artillery shell jacket.

Georgia State Capitol - 3 March 2004
This photo of me was taken at the Georgia state capitol at a Southern Heritage PAC press conference on the day following a rigged vote on the Georgia Flag Referendum. We were there to express our indignation about such underhanded politics and to let the press know that the fight for the return of the 1956 Georgia flag was not over!
