The Need for a Paradigm Shift

Most Christians today do not have a Christian worldview. They think like humanist. If fact, most Christians get very offended if you ask them to think about anything.  The purpose of this website is to help Christians think like Christians.  The Confederate Preterist website advocates Reformed Theology, Preterist eschatalogy, a pro-South view of the War Between The States, pro-life libertarian Constitutionalist politics, homeschool education and more. An important part of this site is the links to other, more in depth websites. Confederate Preterist is designed to point Christians in the right direction.

In every area of life there is truth and untruth. The only thing untruth has against truth is mockery and slander. Untruth has no sound arguments against truth. Mockery and slander are powerful forces used by untruth advocates to discourage truth holders from standing for truth. Nobody likes to be laughed at or thought of as stupid and ignorant. Truth is never popular. Confidence is not a substitute for truth. Neither is sincerity. The truth is that Christians are totally in the dark about eschatology, creation, history, politics, economics, education, and more. Christians need a Christian Worldview.

Most Christians think the Second Coming of Christ will happen soon, but didn't Jesus say He would return within the lifetime of the disciples when He told them, " When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes." ( Matthew 10:23). Christians need to give a serious look at Preterism.

The so called "Civil War" is totally misunderstood by most people. Karl Marx actually understood it better than Americans do today when he said, "The war between North and South is a tariff war. The war is further, not for any principle, does not touch the question of slavery, and in fact turns on the
Northern lust for sovereignty."

Christians today think the Republican party is conservative and Christian. It is neither. There is no difference between the two major parties. They both are big government, socialist, pro-choice parties. Christians need to wake up to this fact and vote accordingly.

Christians need to drop out of the government ("public") school system which brainwashes their children with humanism. Home schooling is the way to go. Indoctrinate your children with the great doctrines of the Bible. God has assigned responsibility of education to the parents, not the state.

In economics, most Christians think the federal government should provide for us from cradle to grave. This is known as socialism and is contrary to the Word of God. The free market allows people to keep what they earn and make their own decisions. Competition in the market drives down prices and drives up the quality of goods and services.

Each of these areas are related to one another. For example one's view of Bible prophecy affects his view of politics. Just see how the U.S. Government favors Israel. This is because of the futurism of evangelicals who vote. A public school (government school) student will be fed utter falsehoods about the War Between The States and this will in turn affect his view on politics. Christians are in the dark about all these areas of life. As the Church goes, so goes the country. Because Preterism is true, Christians can  have a long term vision of victory for the future. The enemy wants us to think we can't win, but God says we can.

Sadly, most Christians today think like humanist. Jesus is Lord over every area of life, not just personal holiness or personal relationships. He is Lord over politics, education, science, business etc. God has ordained three major institutions in this world - Church, State, and Family. All three institutions are to be governed by the Bible. There is no neutrality in any area of life.

Pastors aren't helping matters either. They have their heads buried in the sand and are unaware of the  cultural struggle occuring in America. They see Christianity as unrelated to societies problems when in fact all human behavior is religious. They preach the same shallow sermons week after week and do not challenge their congregations to think. They only apply the Bible to personal matters. Their sermons are more like pop psychology lectures instead of Biblical exegesis.

This is why we need a paradigm shift in so many areas of thinking.
