Fourth Annual Bloodletting
April 24, 1999
On the wooden planks on Staring Lane, Baton Rouge

About the Event

This years tournament is in the final planning stages now. It is scheduled for the last Saturday of April - the 24th. This year we have a simpler design for the shirts, more minimalistic and simiple. T-Shirt orders MUST be placed early - payment is do by April 12th and can be given to either Thomas Smailus or George Fuller.

The Reigning Champion in a weapon will not compete in that weapon but will be called to judge thier weapon instead. The goal is to try to solve the problems associated with finding an impartial Director and getting a bit more variety in the championships. Directors will still make plenty of mistakes and will certainly be yelled and and hated on that day but such is the life of the Director and we, the CSFA Fencers, must all share in that burden. Remember this on the 24th.

The event is a CSFA organized event designed to remove the fencers from the typical surroundings of competition. It was conceived in the twisted little minds of the Founders: Thomas Smailus, George Fuller, Beth Hughes.

The Horcktoberfest used the current CSFA rules of the event.
