PROGRAM POLICIES
Senior
Legion - the best 16 to 19 year olds (occasional 15 year old) within the
Conestoga Legion Boundaries.
Junior
Legion - the best 14 to 15 year olds (occasional 13 year old) within the
Conestoga Legion Boundaries.
Prep
Legion - the best 13 year olds (occasional 12 year old) within the Conestoga
Legion Boundaries.
Cadet
- For those 16 year olds that do not make tthe Senior Legion team.
Double rostering with the Senior team for those that do not expect to get
a lot of playing time. Slots may
also be available to those 15 year
olds that do not make the Junior team or who want to double roster between the
Junior and Cadet teams.
Sandlot
- For those 14 year olds that do not make tthe Junior Legion team.
Double rostering with the Junior team for those that do not expect to get
a lot of playing time. Slots may
also be available to those 13 year olds that want to double roster between the
Prep and Sandlot teams.
Players wishing to play for the Conestoga Legion Baseball Club will try out for their age appropriate team.
All
players should plan on attending at least 2 tryouts unless special approval is
given beforehand by the team's manager.
All
those players that want to play on the Cadet team must try out for the Senior
(or Junior) team.
All
those players that want to play on the Sandlot team must try out for the
Junior team.
Players
cut from the Junior team may try out for the Cadet team.
Players
may double roster with another Conestoga Legion team but will be by the approval of their
primary team's manager. Only the fee
for the primary team will be collected but any misuse of this privilege will be
cause for removal from the program with no refund.
Special double roster forms will be completed and signed by player,
parent(s), and managers.
