Letter is for survey of William Cone (spelled Coan) land, containing 100 acres. Beginning on Legget's branch joining Neel/Neal Cone's line, along his line to Moon Spring branch, then up the branch to the old road then to Leggets branch then up the branch to the begg.
Survey: Land for William Cone, began at a pine on Legget's branch supposed to be Neel Cone's corner. Running then North 60* West along this ?? bald line 102 poles to a pine supposed to be this Cone Bald corner thence north 20* East along this corner line to a white oak 48 poles thence north 80* west along up Moon springs branch 100 poles to the center of a pine and hickory hedge in Watson's line the south along the said Watson's line 145 poles to a pine in the said Watson's line the north 84* East 190 poles to the first station.
