| Our hallways were in reasonably good shape but hadn't been painted or patched in over ten years, perhaps longer. The walls suffered from the results of countless moves over those years, including several scratches and gouges. John filled all the cracks, patched the gouges, and finished the walls with semi-gloss latex paint, which brought out the detail that was hiding behind the old dull surface. He also sanded and re-varnished the hand rail, which should help it weather the years to come. 5.19.02 |
