On June 15th 2001 I had my first experience with extraterrestrial life. It was a nice night so nice I decided to stargaze. I was watching all the stars and naming them. I was just stargazing. I saw this very bright star. It was moving fairly fast and it was coming closer and closer. It was just so weird that such a distant object could come so close to us. I thought extraterrestrial life was just folklore so I didn't think it was that.
     I was getting tired so I went upstairs to go to bed. I stared at that object all night until about midnight. It was thirty minutes after midnight when I heard this big bang and didn’t the bright object anymore. After that I heard noises outside. It sounded like somebody screaming and yelling. It was very disruptive. I glanced outside and saw something in the backyard.
     I ran downstairs and then outside. When I got out there, there was this huge space object. It had big bright lights and it looked like a UFO (like the ones off TV). Right by it was a two foot bluish-greenish man. He was working on his space ship and yelling. He was also kicking it. I think he was pretty frustrated. When he saw me he jumped. He stared at me for a moment, trying to figure me out. I didn't know what to say or do so I just stood there. He came up to me and started poking me. He took me into his space ship.
      It was beautiful in there. It looked like a rich persons house. It had chanterelles; it just had everything you could imagine. Everything you could want or need. It looked really small from the outside, but it was huge inside. After I was done looking around we sat down. He had to get a really high chair, of course, but we managed! HAHA!
I found out that he could speak English, but he couldn't write it. He wrote it with signs like this: Hi, how are you? It was very odd. After I found out what he could do I asked him how he got here and why he came here. He told me that he came down here to see how hostile we were and it just so happens that he crashed in my backyard! When he talked it sounded kind of like a computer talking. I told him we weren't very hostile unless provoked. He said that they were hostile unless provoked too. My grandpa has a gun cabinet so I sneaked him upstairs and showed him the different weapons we had.
      I also showed him different history tapes to see the bigger and more explosive weapons. He looked intrigued so I showed him more history tapes. As he watched more tapes I think he was a little scared. He told me that our planet was much more powerful than his was. I told him not to worry and that we would never hurt their planet unless they provoked us to. He said they would probably never do that! I just laughed!
      He tried explaining his planet to me. He didn’t know how to say his planet s name in English. He just told me that it means planets of many moons. He said it had a rocky terrain and not many trees or plants. It has many moons that is why it means planet of many moons. I knew it was a different planet that we didn’t know because it wasn't familiar.  He said there was many different sections of his planet.
      After we were done talking about his planet I showed him my dog. He just poked at him and then bit him. My dog cried for a while and then bit him back! I thought it was funny! The alien just laughed. His laugh was funny! It sounded like a chipmunk! I just laughed and laughed!
      After that I showed him my cat. My cat didn’t like him though. The alien really liked him! The cat just scratched him and walked away! The alien followed him for awhile, but then came back. I let him listen to some of my music. He danced and it was so funny! I was laughing so hard! I thought his planet was very interesting. I gave him a history tape to show his planet.
      I found out there is different life besides us!
