| Thanatology: The study of the theta-phenomena.
Theta-phenomena: Paranormal phenomena suggesting the existence of a life after death. (E.g. ghost apparitions and spontaneous regression to previous lives). Time-Slips: Moments where the past and present collide at one point. Long periods of time are often missing with no apparent reason. Thoughtography: The probable capacity to make images appear on photographic film, without using any photographic processes. Transcommunication: Alleged communication with the afterlife or with another reality by means of audio and video equipment. It is possible that voices or images of deceased people appear on the tape. There have also already been reports about communication per computer. This phenomenon is sometimes also called Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP). Transportation Apparitions: The appearance of ghostly cars, trucks, ships, bicycles, carriages, trains, airplanes and anything else that carry people. They haunt their old routes. Vampire: A supernatural creature (undead) that can only come out at night and exists by drinking the blood of the living. Vortex: An opening or doorway between our world and the spirit world. Wild Hunt: A group of ghost horsemen and/or pack of ghostly dogs seen at night, usually around Halloween. In Welsh myth, the King of the Underworld, Arawn, rode the Wild Hunt on Samhain (Halloween) night with his huntsman Herne and a pack of white, red-eared hounds. Witch: A woman with supernatural powers. Wraith: A ghost that comes back to avenge its own death. Considered an omen spirit. Xenoglossy: The medium fluently speaks or writes a language that he/she doesn�t know. This happens mostly when the medium is in trance. |
