At right,  there's a bluish cloud of ectoplasm with a bright white spot;  the homeowner tells us that this is the same chair and pose in which his late wife could most commonly be found.  The white spot appears to be about the size of a dermal medication patch.
In the fall of 2002, the two senior members of the team went to Salem, Massachusetts, to document a few sites for inclusion here.   The date of the above photo is November 1, 2002.  It was taken at the Salem Witch Village Museum during a tour. In the course of the tour, strange shrieking and babbling sounds were heard by tour participants that we were assured were NOT part of the program.  Cold spots and balls of mist also occurred in the building.  It was a seasonably chilly day, around 40 degrees Fahrenheit, slightly overcast, but not foggy.
There are several things happening at once in this photograph.  At top and at right, the orange 'ecto-ribbons'; in the center and to the right, a long procession of robed people, led by a woman who walks stooped over slightly.    (The original resolution of this picture is 3632 x 2336 pixels, or an 11-megapixel digital image.)    There are no power sources in this area of the cemetery; the weather was cool, clear and dry.
