A lovely trio of Conus generalis L., 1758 (below) : it is quite a variable species!!!


 

A family of Conus gloriamaris Chemnitz, 1777, living happily in my collection.  The BIG one is about 160mm, for comparison with the little freaks, which are 1) an exeptionally light-colored speciemen, 2) a fully-adult dwarf!), and 3) a twisted little sinister.
