A bone fide  Conus generalis Linne, from the Melanism Capital of the world, New Caladonia.

These are 2 forms of  the lovely Conus emineus Born,  from the Cape Verde Islands.
The larger dark one on the right is 54mm, its lighter-colored counterpart is 50mm.
 

A little 11.5mm Turrid, Mitromorpha atramentosa  Reeve, 1849, from Punta Engano, Phillipines.
Note how it could fool you into thinking it was a cone! (no "Turrid notch")

The famous Maltese fultoni! Cypraea fultoni .Sowerby III, 1903. (Pattern resembles a Maltese cross.)

Cypraea sp., taken by tangle net, " Basilan, Zamboanga del Norte, Mindanao. 80 fathoms., Phillipines. Perhaps an ovum x errones hybrid?? The surface pattern resembles a very faint arabica L., but coudn't be scanned.

This is a cone from Bohol Is.  (supposedly taken at 35 fthms last month) that i cannot find in my books.  It has a uniform violet color, except just inside the lip, where the outer part is lighter.  Note also the extremely regular spiral ridges, and the dashes of brown at the suture.
