.....New Caladonia has always been a source of pleasure for malacologists and conchologists, while Indonesia is quickly becoming the next "Phillipines" of the shell world, with its thousands of islands and large number of isolated populations. Many new species are coming from this region of tropical, SE Asia, but it i hope that at least SOME of the beasts on this page can be identified by the sharp eyes of the visitors to this page - have fun, and i hope to hear from you if you have some ideas!!
