Paradice
                   deserts us
                           unselves us
              a bird of none
                          over a lake
              that no song breaks
                      shivers
            lake-petals tremble bare
                       under
                  primeval rain

                          *

             Winter soaks my skin
             night enters my mouth
               and swims, probing
                   a raw forest
                     raindrunk
    unskin yourself for liquid pleasure
        & plunge myself in flowers
           as nights nipple burns
             throat lava-screams
Watch the bloodstorm in the raw forest
             as the sea explodes
              swallow screams
A bare sun always begs to live
          Drink a wave of spring

                         *

       winter sky
                   disgorging snow
             unmilked moon
       shuddering rock shadows
                  fallow still

       unlattice the sun
                  & fledge the light
            birdsoar and swim
          in the new-day song
