Where did the name he is legend come from?

Well we go it from a magazine, we were looking through this horror magazine, and there was like a villian in an old horror movie and what not, and the title of the movie was "He is Legend" (in the movie it was pronounced lee-gen), and i think it was also a book. So we thought the name was cool. The band name "He is Legend" means alot of things to alot of people, but we thought it sounded really cool, so thats how we got "He is Legend

How many years have you guys been a band?

Well we've been a band for about 3 years.

You indivudialy, or as a group, what do you consider as the best show you guyz have ever played?

Ever? Wow. We've played so many amazing shows...Ever, hmm. Well, when we did the story of the year tour, we played a show in their hometown, and it was deffintly the largest show we've ever played and it was pretty amazing, so I think most recently that was pretty awsome. But out Eurpoean tour was deffintly a highlight for me

And is there certin band that you like touring with alot, or a certin band that you would want to tour with?

Well we've pretty much enjoyed touring with all the bands so far. This is our second time out touring with from first to last, and we love touring with them. And we really have emensley enjoyed touring with all of the bands. But as far as any bands we would want to tour with, I would have to say the Foo Fighters, were all a fan of them, there amazing.

So I noticed, that alot of people like to put bands in genres that they dont neccisarliy consider themselves as, what would you consider as your genre?

We pretty much just keep it to a rock -n- roll thing,But I guess if we had to narrow it down, it be a southern rock thing, because we auctually are from the south, so its not to complicated.

I was reading an entry on the live journal you guys had about how you kinda had a bad exsperience at the house of blue in Chicago, what was that about?

(he laughes). Well the guys got theire fairly early, and It was in downtown chicago, and nothing against chicago, but I wasnt there,. but from what the guys told me there were some fairly unnatractive hooters waitresses, you know, but nothing agaisnt anyone or whatever, but I dont really know, wasn;t there, I dont really go to Hooters

Sorry for you loss haha

Haha, no no , no big loss.
(after a good laugh, I just moved on to the next question.)
So what do you consider your biggest musical influences.

As a band? or me?

You indivudaly and as a band

Adam:Musical Influences?Pretty much, you know, awsome classic rock artists, awsome rock and roll artists, for me the Foo Fighters, but you know Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath. All the bands that we;ve seen that have made rock-n- roll intreresting, those are tha bands that influence us.As for me , uh , wow, theres just to many bands to name.We all like different stuff so its kinda of a mixed collection.

Could you tell me the meaning behind the song "I am Hollywood"

That song is something that doesnt really have a specific meaning behind it, I didnt write the lyrics, so Schyler would probably give you a good answer on that one , but its ont auctually about Hollywood, it more like a metaphor, like how more people are focused on material than like whats inside. Its really just a metaphor that we just say , and that people would understand. We've never aucutally been to Hollywood, and when we were making that record, it mostly a metaphor that you can use in differnet ways,Schyler wrote the song, and Schyler was at Hooters, so he'd be a good guy to answer those questions , but if you asked me about guitar parts, i could give you alot of good stuff on that.

Alright? Well um...

No im just kidding, please dont ask about guitar parts
(after we have another good laugh, I move on to the next question.)

What do you guyz, intend on doing tonight to get the crowd going crazy? How do you intend of getting them going?

Adam:Oh , well we will do anything ,anything possible, for these kids to have a good time, because really, it doesnt matter how energetic the kids are, what we auctally get off on as a band is if our performance gives these kids a GOOD POSITIVE energy.Because if everybody is having a good time and theres positive atmosphere, but everyone being postive and having a good time is the best part of playing a show. Because sometimes the crowd might tend to have a negitive engery , of being anxious and what not, you gotta pull them out of that, but it feels good when you roll into a city, and you can tell everyone is just there to have a good time and there are no qualms about anything, because it doesnt really matter how many people are in the pit, we dont realyl care about that stuff, we just care about everyone having a good time

Yeah I know what you mean, because when it gets out of control, it can get very negitive.

Yeah, deffintly, I agree with you on that.Sometimes alot of scenes and what not tend to focus on the auctual social gathering, which is not what its really about, well its half about that, but its more about the fact that your here, paying to see live music and the bands have a responsibilty to put on a good show and to play well, they payed there admission and were responsible for them having a good time

Are you guyz going to play any of your old stuff tonight?

Yeah, deffinitly

And is there anything you want to tell the fans, about the tour, the album, anything in genral?

Adam:Tell our fans that we love them.To keep your eye out for the new record, were writting, were recording feburary 1st through march and it should be out sometime next year, in the middle of next year, so keep an eye out for that.
