Reviews:
Unfortunately on this tour Toad was a opening band for the
Cranberries and this set was short. KZON 101.5 FM had a contest for "Toad the Wet
Barbecue" before the show and I was a winner who attended this. So I was really
psyched up the whole day. It was a barbecue with Toad. Once again I'm glad
there's a tape in existence for my own special reasons. Before "Something's
Always Wrong," Glen explains this song is like a popsicle--when you get to the
end of it the part that stays on the stick. Also I have never heard Toad make
reference to "Amnesty International" after "Hold Her Down." Then Willie Porter
(a soulful blues singer who played prior to Toad) came on stage to perform "
Walk on the Ocean." Sound quality on this tape is fair, you'll hear lots of
people in the background with distortion. (R.M.)
