Review:
Taped shortly before the release of fear in a (seemingly) small venue
(maybe even a bar) in Santa Barbara, this show is classic Toad. A few standards
("Good Intentions," "All I Want") share the spotlight with rare live versions of
"When We Recovered" and "P.S." It's strange, however, to hear "All I Want" played
without an enthusiastic roar of approval. The recording itself has some audience
noise, but the setlist and age of the recording make this a great addition to any
Toad collection. (D.P.)
