Twenty years has really flown since we all graduated from high school! After Conard, I spent four terrific years at Boston College, then returned to Connecticut to study Developmental Psychology at Wesleyan. Ever the "perpetual student," I worked for a year and then began a Doctoral Program at University of Hartford. In 1995, I married my husband, Brad, my "high school sweetheart" -- the same guy who took me to the Conard Senior Prom (he graduated from Hall in '82)! We are settled here in West Hartford (where I swore to God I'd never end up!), and we have to admit that we really love the comunity and the school system here.
I am a Clinical Child Psychologist, employed by the Cheshire, CT, school system, to work with students with emotional and behaviorial problems. I work full-time, but follow the school hours and vacations, which is perfect as a busy Mom. Our daughter, Allison, will be 5 in July and can't wait to start Kindergarten at Bugbee in September. My family is also here in Connecticut, so I am fortunate to be able to see my 3 nieces and one nephew quite a lot.
My husband and I are still very close friends with Conard classmates Felicite (Royer) Daigle, Vira (Mamchur) Schwartz, Laura (Dimanno) Brige and Kris Spangberg -- they are lifelong friends and confidantes; their husbands and children (quite a brood) are like family to us!
