Residence: West Hartford, CT College: College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, VA; BS (Psychology & Biology) Professional Degree: Master's Social Work, UCONN; currently Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Hobbies: friends to share good times, aerobics and dance Has it been 20 years already? I must have been having too much fun to notice! On the serious note, I have been working for Dept of Mental Health as a social worker in some form or another for the last 15 years. I am currently working as a forensic social worker in Hartford Superior Court. I have also connected with my Armenian roots and developed a great network of fellow Armenian friends in New England and beyond, whom I have enjoyed many memories with. My parents finally managed to enter this country and we finally became one nuclear family in one country. It has been wonderful spending time with them; unfortunately my father was diagnosed with Dementia of Alzheimer's several years ago and that has taken a toll on all of our family. We are yet standing by him as he struggles with this terrible disease. While I was close to making the leap into married life, I have not done so to this date and perhaps I remain in a minority of those of us yet single, never married .. not divorced and not a social outcase .. simply just single, perhaps realizing the overglorification of a tremendous commitment of responsibility and not wanting to take the leap unless it is 200% right in spirit, heart and mind. I certainly have cared for many children, namely all the severe, mentally ill, drug addicted folks I have 'mothered' and many others that have needed some support in their lives. I have always had my special high school friendships in mind, as they planted the seeds for this fun, passionate life journey in this country for me. I thank them and look forward to seeing many in the upcoming reunion. Your one and only EVVVVVVVVVA ..... |
