It's been a fun ride these past 20 years. I started my career in the financial world on the American Stock Exchange just in time to experience the market crash first hand. It was good to have such an experience early on. The lessons learned have been invaluable. From there my career took me to the energy risk management field where I have been for the past 13 years. I have brokered on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange; consulted energy companies on the development of price risk management programs; and at present serve as Vice President, Energy Derivatives for Bank of Montreal in New York.
On the family front, Susan and I were married in 1992 and lived on Long Island for one year before a job transfer took us down to Atlanta, GA in 1993. We were lucky enough to experience the Olympics first hand, but even luckier when our daughter, Olivia, was born later that year. The family was happy when we moved back to NY in the fall of '97 where Alexander was born in '99. We're living the Island life once again, and having a good time at it.
