This is to announce that the Municipality of Corato-Italy has set up a Prize of

80,000,000 Italian lire
(eighty million lire)

entitled "Nutrition within the Mediterranean". The Prize will be bestowed upon the candidate who submits the best original research on the relationships between nutrition and health within the Mediterranean Basin.

The topic in question may be approached and developed not only from a medical and/or biological point of view, but also in terms of marketable goods and/or animal husbandry.
