I began singing in church choirs, high school operetta's and junior college folk song groups. Been a member of several choral groups and exposed to a ton of different music styles.
Most folks though seem to think that my smoother, deeper voice, gentlemanly approach and natural style are best suited to classic country songs, oldies, some pop and r&b. Probably my strongest suit is being able to croon a wide variety of male artists in my style with a little creativity added on many songs. I've pretty much given up right now on playing a guitar or banjo which I did a little of earlier.
One thing EVERYBODY agrees on though is that I always project my true, deep inner feelings on any song I perform. Call it spirit or style or whatever but I do connect with audiences!
