Hello my name is FT1/SS Karl Weeman and I am presently stationed at SUBMARINE GROUP EIGHT.  I was stationed on two fast attack submarines:  the USS Aspro (SSN- 648) from November of 1991- December of 1994 home ported in Pearl Harbor, HI and the USS Augusta (SSN-710) from February 1995 to February 1997 home ported in Groton, CT.  I then went to instructor duty at the Naval Submarine Training Center Pacific in Pearl Harbor from April 1997 - May 2000 in Pearl Harbor, HI.

  The reason that this web page was made was to provide some information about COMMANDER SUBMARINE GROUP EIGHT on the internet.  When I had received my orders to come here I was unable to find information on my new command and who was going to be my sponsor.  

  This web page provides some contact numbers and my email address and the command sponsor coordinator.  I will add the links to the Naples area as soon as I am able to.   This is a side project that I wanted to start six months ago when I arrived, but was unable to.

  As I stated earlier this is not an official Navy web page and it is not command sponsored,  so if there are any errors they are mine.
