4 March: Left base at ComSubsAsiatic ,

       1000 Load out 20 Mk 14 torpedoes and 95 deck gun shells

5 March:

     0101 Arrive sector M-4, begin patrol

      0320  Target 1, large freighter, 410 yds., night periscope attack, fire tube 5, depth 18’ = 1 hit, target sunk

      0406  Target 2, converted factory ship, 710 yds., night periscope attack, fire tubes 1,2,3,4,8 depth 36’= 3 hits, 2 duds target  sunk

6 March:

      1240  Target 3, armed merchant cruiser, 400 yds., day periscope attack, fire tubes 5,6 depth 25’ = 1                                  miss, torpedo passed under target, 1 dud, target escapes

      1303  Target 4, standard merchant, 940 yds., day periscope attack , fire tube 1 depth 30’ = 1 miss,                                     torpedo passed under target, torps running too deep again, last patrol all 20 torpedoes ran                                     under targets, will adjust depth for shallower run
