Runescape is a massive multiplayer Role Playing Game that encompasses life in the Middle Ages awith a twist of Camelotian Literature. In Runescape, a player picks his/her destiny and begins on Tutorial Island where he/she learns about the Runescape world around oneself. After completing Tutorial Island, one may roam the lands in search of worthy opponents, challenging quests, or worthy skills. Runescape allows many different skills to be used which were also actually used in the Middle Ages such as mining, smithing, cooking, fishing, fighting, and much more! The most important skill, desputably, one can learn is the fighting skill. Fighting is broken into four categories- attack, defense, strength, and hitpoints. Raising all of these skills helps people become better fighters and warriors. The other skills are also helpful tools in controlling one's destiny. items such as swordfish, pies, and armory. All of these things help one in the Runescape World. The world in Runescape is very large and diverse; many places can be visited in safety and there are also places to fight. One major area of combat is the Wilderness, where everyone of any level can fight other players instead of just Computer-Controlled Characters. In here, the dangers and rewards are both extremely numerous. The Runescape World is soon to experience a whole new revelution, where the worldly plane is drastically increased so that the graphics are much better, thus continuing the legacy of Runescape. |
