Turning Off IE Script Error Messages If you find the IE debugger getting in your way, it's easy to disable. In IE, click Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and under Browsing, click "Disable Script Debugging." There are tons of other user-configurable settings in the IE menus, too, although most people never even look to see what's there.
