the KICKFLIP submitted by: Tanner
hey ya'll this is a trick tip for a kickflip.
1st:pop the tail slide your front foot up on the board and down torward
the ground.
2nd:jump as high as you can.
3rd:hover over the board (and try to keep it under your feet!)
4th:once the board has done a full kickflip try and slam your feet onto
the board. it also depends on what size board you have because if you
have a bigger board or a smaller board you will pt your feet in a dif.
position.

frontside bluntslide submitted by: woodsta
Okay, first of all you gotta be able to backside ollie with control and
height and you must be familar with f/s noseslides, boardslides, etc.
1: get lots of SPEED! It matters so much because this slide involves not
only the tail but the wheels also slide if you are using a ledge.
2: Ollie, and start to to turn your body backside (be sure that you are
sort of hovering above the obstacle your sliding.)
3: As soon as you find your board above the obstacle, slap your tail
down hard on the edge as fast and strongly as you can to avoid slipping
out.
4: Stay consistent and hold your body straight to avoid sketchiness.
5: The tricky part. As you get of the edge... well some people pop sort
of a little ollie of of the obstacle and some people just turn thier
shoulders. Its up 2 u.
6: Roll away.

360 flip submitted by: tim skinner
LEARN VARIALS FIRST. it will make this trick easier.
You want to put your front foot kinda in the middle of the deck, have
your foot slanted a bit and part of your heel hanging of. When you place
your back foot on the tail you want your toes hanging off the deck. When
you pop the board you want your front foot to kick out and in front of
you.as your fliping with your front foot your back foot should kick
behind you.so your front foot should be in front of you and your back
behind you. As the deck is fliping it will move to the side, so you want
to be over the deck the whole time. It will take a while to flip it and
land it so keep trying it.

pop shove-it submitted by: justin fuentes
here's how to do a pop shuvit. place your back foot on the tail and your
front foot on the middle of the board.(as always). now slide your back
foot to the back of your butt and your front foot forward. as it spins
180 degrees, put your feet back and you've done it. =)

50-50 Grind submitted by: chrys
vilvang
for 50-50 go at a relatively fast and ollie focus on getting up your
flatbar try to stay looking forward but move to the side focus on
keeping balance on the rail you can manual or ollie of the bar keep
rollin' you did it pat yourself on the back then go to a higher rail

Heelflip submitted by: Chris Marc
FIRST START OFF BY LEARNING THE KICKFLIP. THEN PRETTY MUCH DO THE SAME
THING ACCEPT HANG YOUR FRONT TOES OFF THE BOARD JUST A LITTLE BIT. POP
YOUR BOARD AS IF YOUR DOING AN OLLIE THEN DO THE OPPOSITE OF THE
KICKFLIP AND DRAG YOUR HEEL TO THE RIGHT CORNER OF THE BOARD. MAKE SURE
YOU GIVE YOUR BACK FOOT ENOUGH ROOM FOR THE BOARD TO SPIN. LET IT SPIN
AND PLACE YOUR FEET BACK ON THE BOARD. RIDE AWAY CLEAN AND DON'T GIVE UP
ON IT! - CHRIS MARC

Kickflip submitted by: Nick
For a kickflip you might want to start out doing it flatland. All you
have to do is put your back foot on the tail and your front foot in the
middle of the board slightly to the left if you ride regular and if you
ride goofy to the right. After you have that covered you do your ollie
flick you front foot out to the side that your front foot is on then
wonce you see it spinnin' bring your front foot around and catch the
board with both feet and level it out and then you have got it !

Backside heelflip submitted by: Liam Casey
This is one of my favourite tricks, especially if you can get them down
stairs Set your front foot about two inches behind the front bolts, with
your toes hanging off the edge of the board. Put your back foot on the
tail with your toes right at the edge with your heel hangin a fair way
off. Kick your back foot out, and your front foot inwards. Try to keep
your weight centered so you don't fall on your face when you land. Lift
your back foot up, the higher you lift that, the higher you will pop
four backside heel. Catch it at about 90 degrees and drag it right
around. Hopefully you'll roll away smooth and look like a pro. You'll
probably have to changes a few things to get it right for you, but
theres no rules in skateboarding so do what feels best for you

Frontside flips submitted by: Liam Casey
These are a lot easier to learn on banks, as its easier to get the board
between your legs. Put your front foot just behind the front truck
bolts, point it almost straight, but a little twisted. Put your back
foot on the tail with all you're weight on your toes. Twist your
shoulders so their facing forwards, ready to spin 180. Pop the board, it
should flip right. You need to suck your knees up to your chest and spin,
to catch the board. Really try to keep your weight centered or forward.
I've really hurt my hip a few times by falling backwards hard when i was
learning these. Extend your legs to really plant the board on the ground
and hopefully roll away. once again, change these around to suit you're
style.

Noseslide submitted by: Liam Casey
These are a fairly simple trick, and shouldn't take you too long to
learn Put your front foot right inbetween the front bolts, and your back
foot on the tail. Pop the board and turn on to the ledge. Put your
weight on to the ledge and slide for as long as you can. Turn your
shoulders to turn out, fakie, or natural.

Backside Popshuvit submitted by: bob
First put your foot in the little concaved dip right before your tail.
Then put your front foot over the bolts and try to stick your toe a
little bit off the edge of your board. Now pop up the board while
spinning it a little bit (Your footing should have done most of the
spinning when the board popped up). Now watch the nose spin around
behind your back and try to get your feet on the board. When you land
make sure you don't lean back or you'll fall, just keep your weight
centered and you've done it.

Nollie Flip submitted by: Paul
first learn nollie's and be able to catch and land kick flips with no
problem. Now listen up this trick is a pretty hard one to learn so don't
get fresturated about it.
1) set up in your nollie position, it helped me to have my front foot
pointed out a little.
2) Pop a clean nollie, and slide your foot back, down, and out. Now your
on the front of the board so it might stay a little behind you so jump
back a little.
3) Watch the board flip under you the whole time. Stay above it with
your legs bent higher than the board.
4) When the grip shows again use you front foot or both feet to stop the
rotation. Try to have your feet land on top of the front and back bolts.
5) Now go show your friends, and try them over sewer lids, and off of
stairs.

The Ollie submitted by: Eric Franz
how to do the Ollie, now you probably want to start with out moving for
now then once you get better try moving. The first step is to get on
your board and have your back foot on the tail then you want you front
foot in the middle. The second step is you want to push on the tail with
your back foot then at the same time you want to slid your front foot to
up and jump. Now for the last step the landing for the landing you want
to bend your knees as you are coming down then you should absorb your
landing and there you go now go out and try it.

The Ollie (#2) submitted by: Daniel Redmond
1)first you have to have good balance on your skateboard.
2)Then you put your back foot on the tail and your front fot in the
middle of the board.
3)When you got your feet in position then bend your knees and slam the
tail down and slide your foot up to the nose of your board and then
slide your foot back.
4)When you bring your legs back up suck them up to your body.
5)when you land do not lean back when you land or the board will shoot
out, so when you land just land on the trucks of your board.
6)When you land and ride away give your self a pat on the back.

Nollie Frontside Flip submitted by: Chris Lee
To be able to pull nollie frontside flips first have you nollie
kickflips and nollie 180 flips down-pat. Place your feet much like a
hard flip, but reverse with your feet on the nose obviously. Now simply
apply pressure to your front foot only (YOUR BACK FOOT DOES NOTHING IN
THIS TRICK). After pooping it simply turn with the board flipping
between your legs, catch and land, what could be easier. Now you've
mastered it on the flat look for stairs.

"Derrick's Trick" submitted by: Derrick Barber
Hey my names Derrick Barber I've skated for two years I can do a bunch
of tricks....like an inwerd heelflip sweet ass hardflip not a cheap one
it shoots straight up and at the last minute it flip over, tons of other
tricks, a bunch of grinds on a 2 1/2 ft ledge like switch 5-0 krooked.
Anyways I have a trick tip for you this is a trick I made up ....I call
it the kickflip tappit (learn how to bring your back foot up and do
delayed varials before you try these)
1. bring your front foot out like your gonna do a shovit (keep your heel
alittle lower than your toe too grip the board)
2.bring your back foot up "practice hitting your board alittle bit
behind your wheel" then kick and really quick flick your toe up and
it should do like a really fucked up varial kick flip
3.now here's the hard part you have to suck your legs up and hold them ,
this trick takes alittle longer than the average trick to spin as soon
and you see black extend your legs ...put some style in the landing then
try doing my techno flip (a 360 kickflip tappit)
I dunno if you guys can understand that its hard to explain....if I can
get any money to get a deck before it snow's I'll send you guys some
pictures of it to go with the tip

the Ollie submitted by: Lord.. something or other..
This is for the kid in you letters. Bad news about the board. Just like
you, I'm new to the board, and love the art and fun of it. Olleying can
be pretty hard at first, but practice makes perfect. First, you get some
speed. The faster you go, the higher you can go. Then, position your
back foot on the tail, and your front foot in the middle of the board.
Here's the trick: This all has to been done at pretty much the same
time. Kick the tail, jump, and press your front foot foward, to level
out the board. Keep your knees bent, even when landing, to absorb impact.
When you land, your back foot should be behing the truck, and your front
foot should be over the front truck. Like I siad, it's a pain in the ass
at first, but don't give up.

Nosegrind submitted by: worldskater
place your front foot right behind the front screws go at a decent speed
up to what your going to grind ollie like for a 50-50 but your foot will
go on to the nose lean back slightly when coming off drop your tail and
land it like a 50-50 go find something harder.

the Ollie (#2) submitted by: Phillip Ruffner
Okay dis is da ollie. I am goofy footed so for you regulars it is the
same but on the other side. You put your back foot on the end of the
tail and your front foot about 1-2 inches behind the front bolts. That's
the footing. Now you must push your back foot down hard so that the nose
is at a slant upward. But this next part must be pefect timing. RIGHT
AFTER you do the back foot part, you slide your foot up quickly when you
reach a little bit after the front bolts you start going up. Once you
reach the peek of your ollie you level the board out and then you land.
GOOD LUCK ! !

360 Flip submitted by: David
hi my name is david an i want to teach people how to do 360 flips first
you put your front foot in the middle of your board with your foot
slightly pointed to the nose your back foot should be on the tail you
pop the tail like a shuvit and kick your front foot like a kickflip and
if you do it right it will flip 360 keep weight centerd it is realy
important to scoop your back foot.

Backside Boardslide submitted by: Brian Ritchie
1. START SMALL , DONT GO BIG ON YOUR FIRST TRY
2. GET YOUR OLLIES DOWN,TRY 180 OLLIES TOO
3. APROACH A RAIL AT ABOUT A 25° ANGLE.
4. POP YOR OLLIE AS NORMAL,SHIFT YOUR WEIGHT TO YOUR RIGHT WHILE
FOCASING ON THE LANDING
5. WHEN YOU ARE ON THE RAIL FOCAS ON YOUR BALANCE,GAIN BALANCE BY
LEANING FOWARD OR BACKWARD(DEPENDING ON THE ANGLE OF THE RAIL)
6. WHEN YOU GET TO THE END OF THE RAIL,PUT WEIGT ON YOUR RIGHT FOOT TO
LAND FAKIE,PUT WEIGHT ON YOUR LEFT FOOT TO LAND NORMALY (BACKWARDS FOR
GOOFIE FOOTED PEOPLE) BACKSIDE TRICKS ARE OFTEN EASYER FOR GOOFY FOOTED
PEOPLE.
? Peace out to all my fellow skaters ?

Kickflip submitted by: Aaron Shin
put one foot on the tail, and the other in front of the bolts, put at an
angle which your heel is off the board. pop like an ollie, and bring
your foot up, flick out, and watch the board flip. Don't concentrate too
much on the watching, but concentrate on bringing your foot around the
board to land it. Most people have a hard time knowing what to do with
the foot that flicked out. My special way is to bring the foot to my
chest, and bring the foot around when i'm about to land.

Casper Flip submitted by: Matix
Ok first you got to know what a casper slide is, a casper flip is where
you do the first and last thing in a casper slide in the air. Dont worry,
not to hard... First you do sort of a half kickflip and keep your foot
under your board, this is where its going to get tricky. You bring your
front foot up and forward and cross feet then pull them back to normal
stance and just hope you land! And its not a casper flip if you dont see
the bottom of your board!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By: Matix

"Real Noseslide" submitted by: Matix
Its alot easer if you now how to do 180`s. Get into your 180 position
and turn off a 90 on the rail/ledge/dog poo/or whatever. Keep goin`.
When your done just turn your shoulders whatever way you wish to comeout
in. (Fakie/Normal)

Pressure Flips submitted by: Chris Lee
Pressure flips are possibly my favourite tricks to do in a bank or 1/4
pipe.
Place your front foot on the far left edge of your nose, for natural
skaters that is, and goofy foots on the far right side.
Then place your back foot much like you were going to do a nollie
heelflip.
Next shift all your weight to the front of the board and over your butt,
you need to jump backwards.
Put pressure down only on your front foot, your back foot does nothing
except get in the way.
Once you've popped it kick your back foot out and jump backwards, this
is where weight and feet positioning are critical.
Spot you board catch and land.
Once youve mastered these, try them switch, and add body varials to spin
180 with the board.

Hardflip submitted by: Chris Lee
Hard flips are quite possibly the smoothest looking trick that you can
pull on a skateboard when done properly, down stairs etc. A hardflip is
where the board flips backwards on itself and the flips back over like a
kickflip. Your feet and body placings are critical for this trick to be
done properly. I place my front foot 1/2 an inch behin the front bolts
and off to the side, facing foward, and my back foot on the opposite
edge of the tail. Have your shoulders facing to the side and partly to
the front. Pop your tail, if your foot is placed right the board will
flip in the hardflip motion, you don't usually use your front foot in
this trick After popping throw your feet outwards as if you were jumping
over a pole withe your legs on either side, you must turn fowards to do
this, also really throw your back leg out. After your board has finished
flipping you have to catch it you can't let it it the ground and then
land, besides that looks shit. After catching land! Try on banks over
hips and down stairs that are 6 or bigger!

Nolle Bigspin submitted by: Chris Lee
The nollie bigspin can be done both backside and frontside, i prefer to
do it frontside. The first 2 things you need to be able to do is a
nollie shuvit, and nollie 180's. Place your feet much like you were
going to do a nollie 180. Then pop a nollie 360 shuvit. Turn with the
board as if you were doing a nollie 180, hold your position @ 90 degrees
and let the board turn another 180. By now you should have turned 90 and
the board 270. Catch the board and turn 90 or land and manual the rest
of the way around.

Backside 180 submitted by: jeffrey
1) O k get in a normal ollie postion
2) push off
3) pop up
4) Then when you slide forward start turn your body backwards
5) When you spin half a circle stop spining and land smoothly

Indy Grab submitted by: Matt Sweeney
Indy Grab- First, get prepared to ollie while moving. Then, ollie, but
keep your head at the same height. It's kind of weird, but keep your
head and body low, just bend your knees up against your chest. Grab tthe
board right in the center with your right hand if you ride regular; your
left if fakie. Let your other hand fly away from your body. This looks
good and shows off your style. Then, finally bring you hands back to
your regular position and kick down on the board to land.

some trick tips subitted by: stealth920
The Pop Shove-it
Before you attempt this trick, as for most tricks, you ought to know the
ollie first. The first thing you need to do is give it a "pop"
(Slam down on that tail.) Now "shove-it" around with your
front foot so that the board turns a 180, but you stay in the same place.
You ought to learn it standing in place first, and then learn it fakie.
After that you can attempt it moving forward. You can place your feet in
different positions for this trick. It all depends on you. Some put
their feet sort of the way you would for a kickflip. Others put one foot
about on the middle facing straight forward and the other facing
straight forward on the tail. Remember when you do it to jump forward.
Because if you just spin out the board and stay in the same place, your
board will just fly out and you will look stupid. We wouldn't want that...
360 Flip
To do a 360 flip, you should first be able to do a Varial flip and 360
Pop Shove-it. First put your back foot on the back right edge of the
board (back left edge if you are goofy) and put it at an angle so it is
on the very edge of the tail. Then put your front foot a couple inches
towards you from the middle of the board and then slant your foot the
same way you did on your back foot. Now it's time to do the trick. Set
up bend your knees and hit your tail while sliding your front foot
forward. Through your back foot behind you as quickly as you can as you
hit your tail spinning the board till it rotates all the way around.
While doing this slide your front foot off the edge of the board using
your toe to flip it. Your board does not have to go high just as long as
it gets around. You can work on the hieght later. Once it has finished
rotating catch the board with your feet and land on it. That's pretty
much it. Oh yeah, and then ride away. Bet you didn't do it. If you did,
good job.
360 Pop Shove-it
This trick is actually pretty tough. You ought to know how to do regular
pop shove-its and at least be able to kickflip and stuff. You'll have to
try putting your feet a few different ways. The best way is to put your
feet kind of like an ollie and scoot your front foot towards your back a
bunch. The most important thing is to keep the board from flipping, so
you don't land prematurely or overmaturely. Hit your tail and swing your
back foot back. Jump. You want to use the power in your back foot for
it. Try to shoot it around fast and grab it with your feet. You might
have to jump forward to catch it like a 360 flip (if you can't do this
trick, you might want to try a 360 flip.)
Varial Flip
It is essential that you know the pop shove-it and kickflip before
attempting this sic trick. Then you will be cool to go for it. The best
way to put your feet is with your back foot on the toe edge of the tail,
and with your front foot at about a 45-degree angle and your toe on the
heel edge. It should be about 2 or 3 inches from the bolts. This whole
thing is simultaneous. Hit the tail (duh.). Push your back foot to the
heel edge like a pop shove-it. Slide your front foot forward and towards
the edge, flipping the board. Try to keep your board underneath your
feet. Try to keep your feet out of the way while it is flippin' around.
Then when it has turned a 180 and flipped "catch the board",
as in get your feet back into the normal position for riding in the air.
Got all that dummy? Land and keep your weight centered or else you will
slip out and look like a dumbass, unless you already are a dumbass, in
which case you will look like a real dumbass. Okay, if you didn't look
like a dumbass, ride away cool, knowing that you did a really sic flip
trick.

Nose Grind submitted by: Nick Read
1. Learn nose manuals; learn them well.
2. Watch video's of Rick McCrank nose grinding down hand rails. Get
amped.
3. Find a ledge that is gonna grind. If the ledge is too small (a gutter
for example) then you will probably not grind. Also, make sure it is a
ledge that you can grind straight off the end of. It's a real bitch to
get nose grinds to come off the side of a grind.
4. Approach the ledge/rail at about the same angle as if you are going
to do a 50-50. Your feet should be in the same position as you would for
a nose manual (see step 1). I like my front foot just behind the front
deck bolts.
5. Ollie up and get your front truck on to the grind. Don't put all your
weight up front or you will stall; keep a little on your back.
6. Grind
7. Don't bother trying to pop it off the end; it's too hard to do when
first learning. The easiest way to get off the end is to just keep in
your grinding position even after you have gone off the grind. Once you
see your tail has cleared the end, it is then, AND ONLY THEN, that you
should level out your board.
8. Land over your bolts and roll away.

Varial Kickflips submitted by: Casper
yo waz upper this is casper I'm new to this hole page but not not to
skating I've been skating for 7 years so you need help on you're varial
kickflips alright try getting enough of you're back foot on the board to
where you're a lil comfortable not to much though cause then you can't
wip it out good enough then you're going to want to get you're front
foot on the board not to much though cause then you won't have enough
power to flip wit you're front foot after you have it all positioned
right to the extint of where you're happy wit it ollie first then try to
wip the board out and through a quick kick flip in there if the board
goes to the side of you go with it no matter what you do keep the damn
board uner yo feet and you will start to get it soon sopeace out and
holla at me atcherylb4atprodigy.net

Heelflip submitted by: Bob
I'm sick of seeing all those trick tips they post up on-line that some
person totally made up and don't work at all so i'm gonna keep this real
and tell you what works for me. First of all put your back foot in the
normal ollie position (duh) and your front foot at a 30 degree angle in
the middle of your board. now your gonna pop the board up and try not to
bend your knees as much because it screws up the landing. So kick down
on the deck in the little concaved dip right in front of the nose and
watch ur board spin incredibly fast because of where your front is, now
don't let the board get out in front of you so you only land with one
foot on, make sure you kick DOWN. So just make sure you get on the grip
tape (i don't believe in any of that catching it with ur back foot stuff)
as i said in the backside popshuvit don't lean back! Just stand in awe
that you have landed it for the first time just like me this morning.

Frontside 180 Flip submitted by: Nick
Place your feet as if your about to do a kickflip. Look forward. Here's
where the trick begins. Flick your back foot round behind you, as if you
are going to heel your bum, and kick the board at about north-east
angle. Here's the hard bit. Jump as high as you can and turn your body
180 degrees frontside, so your front foot turns into your
backfoot.Durong this the board shood be rotating one way and you
rotating the other. Plant your feet down when you see the grip tape
inline with your feet, and your off! This trick took me a long time to
perfekt especially landing on the board, but if you do manage to pull it
off, it looks well impressive.

Nosegrab submitted by: Adam Raffa
Hey, Adam Raffa here from London. Here's how to do the first grab you
should learn, you can do these flatland real quick but they're a lot
easier if you can ollie off of kickers, funboxes, pyramids etc:
1) Get in your basic ollie position (maybe your front foot farther
forward at first)...
2) Gather enough speed to get at least get air higher than your normal
ollie...
3) As you start your normal ollie try not to level out as much as you
usually do (that comes in later)...
4) Lean forward slightly and grab your board with your thumb on the grip
tape side and your other fingers on ther underside of your board.
5) When you r about 0.5m above rthe ground release your hold and level
out quickly.
6) Land and tell your audience how to do this trick.

360 flip to casper slide big spin out submitted by: matt
hi im matt and i have a tip for you i have been skateing for 9 years and
this trick took me 1 and a have months to learn so dont get sad if you
cant do it with in 1 week. my friend jesse was the one who tought me
this trick. the trick is a 360 flip to casper slide big spin out first
you must know how to 360 flip.
1>put your front foot in the middle of the board and the back foot at
the back. toes slightly over the edge,
2> pop and scoop with back foot while kicking your front foot out
like a kickflip
3> dont flip the board as quuick as a normal 360 flip because u only
want to flip half way
4> land with back foot behind the truk and front foot inthe middle
underneath the board ( top side )
5> lean back apply pressure to the rear of the board
6> now kick around with top foot and push around with back foot
7>keep legs well away from board but remain above, whilst twisting
your body into the 180 degrees (make sure your shoulders move first. the
rest of the body will follow)
8> the board should land up right with you on it if u have done this
trick right
9> happy sk8ing dude

"how to skate good" submitted by: Phil Duncan
Listen up if you really wanna skate good, and look good while you do it,
theres a couple of things you gott make sure of first
you gotta be in good mood, you cant be pissed off or your gonna sk8 crap
and be in an even worse mood, you gotta be pumped, listen to some music
get a rhythm in your head, sounds stupid but makes you feel more smoooth
and relaxed, you gotta know your limitations, your not gonna be pro in a
day, so dont think your gonna be progress at your own speed/ and finally
you gotta be confident, try something your body tells you not to do, if
you cant bring yourself to like ollie of the pavement or something
harder, you gotta go at it not thinking, the second your brain gets
involved your on your face, FEAR IS IN THE MIND

One Footed Manual - Switch submitted by: 'flippy flip'
SWITCH ONE FOOTED MANUAL OR ONE FOOTED MANUAL My name is Justin and I
will teach you one of my best tricks the one footed manual. I am a goofy
boarder and I can do this switch mainly cuz I have more control with my
right foot. First figure out which foot has more control on your board.
Place ur one footed manual foot where the tail goes up a bit. Then slant
your foot up and keep your balance. Start rolling and hold ur foot in a
slant. Have your back foot just slightly near the tail or the knee bent
near the tail. When you are finished put your other foot back on the
board and ride away clean. This trick took me a lot of practice and I
can go about 50 feet. It takes a lot of balance. Don't give up on this
trick.

"Ollieing Stairs" submitted by: Aaron Shin
Okay, this may not be the name of a real trick, but ollie-ing stairs is
a really cool, and important element in skating. here's how to do this
AMAZING trick: Approach the stairs at a moderate speed. whatever u do,
DON'T CONCENTRATE ON HOW BIG THE STAIRCASE IS because then yu'll bail.
Ollie right before the first stair, and bring your feet to yur chest,
and bend down. You don't need to ollie too high, but u need to get ready
for the landing. VERY IMPORTANT TO BEND KNEES WHEN U HIT THE BOTTOM. it
reduces the shock. Believe me, it works

Casper Manuals submitted by: thelemurmaster
for all you kids that suck at ollies but rule at manuals and want to go
further, here you go 1) Place your front foot (if regular, opposite if
goofy) on the left side of your board, keep that foot paralell to the
other side of the board
2) Place your back foot on the the right side of the tail, having the
ball of your foot on the edge of your board.
3) Now push your front foot down and pull the board over with your back
foot
4) If your good and flipped the board the right way, your would have
moved your front foot underneath the board (underneath the grip tape if
your stupid and don't know that you flip the board over) and the back
foot should be behind the back truck on the tail.
5) Keep it up as long as you can
6) Then pull up your front foot and push your back foot forward
7) If your a good little flip monkey, the board will flip back and catch
it
8) To make this more impressive, 360 flip out of it

Hardflip submitted by: thelemurmaster
1) Get ready to ollie as high as you can
2) Give your board the biggest slam on the tail that you have ever done
3) Get your front foot off the board so it can flip over
4) I usually dont do this, but before you take your front foot off, you
can flick the board slightly
5) Get your legs out of the way, and make sure the board doesn't hit
your balls, or vaginal area
6) When it completes it flip catch it, and if your firends are there, so
you can do it with a body varial, and try it.

Varial Heelflips submitted by: habitat
1.PUT ON YOUR HOODIE

FLIPS LIKE A HEELFLIP
3.OLLLIE AND POP YOUR BOARD A BIT LIKE A FRONTSIDE POP SHOVE-IT.
4.NOW EXUCUTE THE HEELFLIP,BUT KICK IT A BIT MORE FORWARD TO HELP THE
BOARD TURN
5.SUCK THOSE LEGS UP FOR THE CATCH.
6.TRY TO GET YOUR FEET OVER THE BOLTS,THIS WAY YOU DON'T SNAP YOUR TAIL
OFF.
7.CENTER YOUR WEIGHT

9.ROLL AWAY AND PRETEND THIS TRICK WAS TOO EASY.

Rocket Air submitted by: Scott
Hi my name is Scott and Ive been skateboarding for a year now but in
that year Ive learned a few good tricks and here is the Rocket Air. Put
your front foot in the middle of the board and put your back foot on the
tail. Ollie but don't level out the board just grab the nose with both
hands before you land try to get back into your normal position,it helps
keep your balance.

hardflip submitted by: Mike Wray
Ok, to bust hardflips make sure you can olli, kickflip and pop-shove
huge. You also need the courage to risk getting sacked, so watch out.
Their is usaully quite a bit of confusion to what a hardflips is. Put in
one sentence, it's a end over end pop-shove in between your legs. The
flip parts happens when the shove goes end over end. So put your feet
with your front foot angle slightly more than a kickflip and your back
also angle a little bit (this will take car of the flip. Make sure your
stable on your with your feet angled forwards like this. (your front
foot should be on the edge of the board of course, but not too much; you
don't want to flip the board too much.) Angle your shoulders fairly
sqaure with the nose of your board and bend down. Try to take off with
tons of pop but a the same time keep the board under control. Pop the
board up straight through your legs while spreading them. (aim the nose
of the board at your nuts.) Jump up spread your feet to get them out of
the way. (make sure the board rotates between your legs). Your back foot
can be slightly back to help you land back again. Wait for your flip to
finish. (In your head think of it as a big-ass shove-it. Bring your feet
back at the right moment when your board levels out. You should be at
the peak of your air (so half of the trick is just taking off and poping.
Slam down sturdy right over your bolts. Keep balanced. If you do this
trick perfecly you should be able to get huge pop out of it. I can do
five decks stacked with this shit) Try huge stairs - I wouldn't if you
want kids someday

"dh slide" & others submitted by: Jordan Harris
First off this is a HELLA hard trick and is very difficult acheive on
high rails i tell you now all you kids that think your awesome at
grinding i warn you now try it on a 6"-1' high curb
1) Start off getting ready to casper slide, its good to do this trick to
some good skate music
2) Go up to the curb and do a kickflip and get ready to land a casper
slide.
3) Instead of holding the board up Land the tail as if you were doing a
Smith (only with a casper slide position)
4) Slide a short distance and when you feel like your get out of the
slide like you would a casper
5)Land and roll away (NOTE: shift your wait forward so you don't slip
and bust your ass!!)
6) when you master the D.H. Slide Instead of Coming out of it Kick your
foot back and put pressure on it so you hold it like a casper, and
casper out.

the combo is 180 to fakie Nose Grind to FS Nose Bluntslide to F/S
Noseslide 180 out.
Ok find a moderatly High Rail
1) Get going as fast as you can towards the rail, going Strait towards
it align yourself with the rail
2) Pop Your Board and 180, but instead do it onto the rail
3) as you land apply pressure to your nose which is your tail which
makes it a fakie nosegrind
4) Grind for a few moments and forcefully Turn 1/4 of a 180, forcing the
board into a F/S Noseblunt.
5) let the noseblunt down slowly so that your doing a FS Noseslide
6) as soon as you come to the end of the rail, Whirl your shoulders 180
and let your body and the board follow
7) if you did it right you won't have any f***ing clue how you just did
it, but you'll hit the ground hard, you should roll away though, unless
you hit a rock haha
--
F/S Smith Grind
1) Go up to whatever your grinding at a slight angle towards it so your
going into it and not parralel
2) Pop an ollie about an inch or so over whatever you're grinding
3) before you hit turn your Front truck back and your back truck forward
so that the back truck hits the grind and the front is hanging off the
left side for goofy its the right
4) Push Down on your tail a little bit as you land so the front truck
doesn't completly fall and send you flying
5) Slam all of your weight to the back truck so that it pops off of what
you are grinding
6) land and roll away
--
Crooked Grind
1) Start small because coming out of this can be a bitch if you don't
know how to come out of any nose type grinds
2) Go up to whatever your going to grind at a mild speed
3) Pop the board and turn your front truck to whatever your grinding,
applying a little bit of pressure to the nose
4) Hit whatever your Grinding and Hold the grind to the right left for
us goofies
5) when you come to the end of the grind you can either 180 out of the
grind, or try to nudge out of the grind like you were nollying

kickflip help submitted by (i can't remember)
For all those that can only land a kickflip with one foot a good tip is
to flick your foot out more and hard instead of just kicking out it'll
make it spin alot faster and if you jump high enough afterwards you
might just land with both feet. That was my problem for a couple of
months. I'm not a kickflipin' master but that helped me a whole lot.
ZERO POWER!!!
switch hardflip submitted by: brian
1.you wanna place your front foot towards the front of the board right
below the hadware at a slight angle
2.place your back foot at the very back on the edge of your board
3.keep your body straight over the board and pop
4.just slightly flick your front foot to give it the hardflip motion.
5.now move your legs out of the way and suck them up towards your chest
and try to catch the board

handplant submitted by: justin
This is a trick for experts on vert. go up the ramp leaning forward,
then when your front wheels get air-borne lean back and almost do an
ollie but dont slide your foot, grab your board so it doesn't fly away
and hold on to the edge of the ramp.then as you fall back down let go of
the board and the ramp and go back down. If you cant switch your riding
stance do a 18- handplant, it may not sound easier but it is if you ONLY
ride regular like me. |
