Mobile Athlon 64
Launched on September 23rd, 2003, the initial product was the 3000+. With an improved PowerNow technology called Quiet & Cool, the Mobile Athlon 64 processors are the fastest processors in the mobile in the market. Major differences between their desktop counterparts include less heat dissapation and no integrated heatspreader. AMD soon expanded the product line by adding the 3200+ and 2800+. The 3200+ operated at 2000MHz while the 2800+ was clocked at 1600MHz. Later, AMD added the 2700+. The 2700+ is essentially the same as the 2800+ except the downsized 512kb L2 Cache.
