Greetings!!

I don't have much to share but what I have, I'm sharing!! :-)

Apparently there are still problems with the email getting through. If you have not heard from your family member in Estonia, please let me know so we can get a message to them to either call home or email us so we can forward it on to you.

Also, if you are getting email from someone in Estonia, please share whatever you are able to share. For most of us, what we see in these updates is ALL we see and if you're like me - you want every bit of information possible just to get a better glimpse of what is happening there and how to pray.

For those who want "just the facts" here are the highlights:

>>This was sent to me by Connie who is now in Estonia. We should be hearing from her soon and you can bet as soon as I do, I'll pass it along. Also, pictures from there should be coming soon and I will certainly pass those along or let you know where you can see them.<<

Boo and Jerry stayed at the site last night in the tent to do security . I
was there till 9pm and we were listening to the wolves
howling in the Forrest. Our two way radios work back to our room @ the dairy if we use the winch radio. Jerry called me at 5am this morning to let me know that they survived
the night.

Boo has many hours on the loader. Did a great job on the road to the tower,
also fixed where the bus parks and worked on the road to the site as well.

We spent some time this morning organizing all the stuff in the tent.
Has rained most all day. We placed new tarps over the things in the tent
for good measure. I have one transformer working in our room.
TV and VCR up there too. Put beds together at 4am today and put
others out in the hall. Rest of crew went to local churches.

I can't remember how long of a layover you have in Stockholm or if even you are going there. If your flights are like ours we had 5-6 hours there. You can get a hotel there
by the hour so if you need a place to rest it might cost you around 60 bucks.

Have a load of stuff in the tent to bring here but did not due to
transporting in the rain. Calling for rain next 4 days.

Sunday dinner was great. We opened a can of bush beans and heated them with
a propane torch. Had some potato chips too. Thanked the Lord for all.

2 men waiting for computer now.

Love you,
Jim

>>>and another note.....<<

Sunday night here, no mail from you today.

10:10 pm , just back from the site, saw moose while grading road.

Lady guard on site tonight.

Will look in the morning for email from you.

Love Jim

P.S. Hi Cayla Miss you, bunch of kids around here, am sure you will
find many friends here.
Love Daddy

(note from Connie)
Jim also called this evening to see if I received the e-mail from Dr. Carlson or him about the plumbing parts. I have not so he e-mailed them again, still no email. It is now 1:15 am and still had not come in. Jim called and gave me the list as he wanted to go to the site. Sure makes a person wonder where all the e-mails are going. I did send him to e-mails his Sunday, my Saturday night and he has not gotten them.

In the morning I will go get what plumbing parts they need and take them when I leave Tuesday. We need to pray for the weather and also for the e-mail to work a little better.

God Bless
Connie

>>THANKS so much Connie for sharing these!! We need to really pray for the weather!!

~~Email from Doug Smith
Hello there. All is going well. Went to Tallinn over the weekend. Had
a great time. Ate like kings, and shopped in the old town. The items
in the container seemed to fair very well. God has provided what we
need, and is ever with us as we work. We are just getting the roof put
on now, and will then be out of the rain that has hampered us somewhat
each day lately. Am getting tired, but enjoying the work.

Doug

>>THANKS Nancy for passing this our way!! Sounds like the containers that were being held up arrived. Does anyone know anything about this??? PRAISE GOD if that is the case!!<<

(This email was sent to MCC's email prayer chain)

Yes, the only way so far that we have been able to receive e-mail is
through our own servers so you can send it through

[email protected]

Thank you for your prayers and notes of encouragement. The weather is the main problem. It is like winter here in the middle of summer. Rain most of the days and cold at night. Several of the men have had to stay at the work site at night since we still don't have a watchman. We hope to
have one tonight. We went to Salem Baptist church this am and 3 men spoke. We had communion from one cup as usual and were blessed by the prayers of the many people there in the service. We hope to set the roof rafters tomorrow on the building and then put on the roof. Forecast is for rain over the next 4 days and we really need some dry weather until we get the roof
on. Please pray with us about this. The Lord bless you as we work for our Lord together.

Your friend and brother in Estonia, Jim Carlson

>>THANKS so much Anne for passing this our way. <<

The web page is up and linked to the Pereraadio site so if you have a chance, visit the Tartu Family Radio site at www.pereraadio.ee and click on the little picture up in the top right hand corner. There are improvements being made as we discover what the Tartu website will (and won't) do in cooperation with the Estonia Christian Radio Project webpage. Pray this will get worked out before the project is over :-)

I've meant to include in every email update a list of things to pray for. The following is taken from a list given to us by Dr. Carlson before the team left. In addition to the needs stated above, please also pray for the following:

Unity among the group
Safety for all the workers
Anointing and wisdom for our Team Leaders - Jim Carlson, Jim Hulse, Taavi Kaups
Pray for favor with the local and state officials
A move of the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of the people who will hear the Gospel in Western Russia, Europe and Scandinavia!!
Understanding and wisdom for each traveler
That each team member would be brought into deeper levels of intimacy with Jesus.

"Every day with it's new reasons I will bless you affectionately and gratefully praise you, my god, O King. I will praise your name forever and ever." Psalms 145:2

Blessings
Lynda Jost
