It is such an honor for me to be involved with the ECRP and to those of you
who have offered feedback about these posts I especially thank you. I
appreciate hearing from any of you who are willing to share what you like or
don't like about these posts. I have heard from some (mostly the ladies)
that they LOVE the details and all the info. Then I have heard from some
(you guessed it - the guys) that they would prefer something akin to a
bulleted list. Well - in an effort to please all I'm going to try a new
format. At the beginning of each post, I'll have something like a table of
contents - the bulleted list. Then after that I will include all the
details for those who want to read the details. Hope this meets with
everyone's approval.
Blessings

~ Please pray for John who missed his flight
First - our friend John who missed the flight.... Bob, his brother who is
also on the team, called John while the team was in NY. John has to leave
from SFO because of the tickets, so he's trying to get there. It sounds
like Jim Carlson left Johns tickets at the will call counter in SF. John
is
perhaps going to try to fix his car to drive up there but again, this isn't
definite. It is possible John may try to fly out Monday early or perhaps
even Tuesday. It sounds like, at this point, he still has a chance to use
the tickets and get to Estonia IF he can get up to S.F.
PLEASE PRAY for this man and his family as I'm sure there is an incredibly
high level of frustration here too.

~ Add these names to the list of people on the team in Estonia
Please add the following names to your list of people on the team. I
thought there were more in the Hulse family who were going but I wasn't
sure. These people are incredible servants for the Lord and have a
ministry
of erecting radio towers (if I understand the information I've been given.)
Go visit their website if you have time. You'll find it at
http://www.towersforjesus.org .
Add to the list
Christopher Hulse age 12 Plymouth IN (he and Jim arrived
3 days ago)
Corey Hulse age 14
Cayla Hulse age 7
Connie Hulse and 2 of the children leave July 4 @10pm from Chicago
to meet
up with the team. Connie writes "We could not all get tickets at the
same
time as we waited toooo long to see when our
container was going to be released from US customs. It was delayed by 3
weeks here because of wrong paperwork, which turned out things were right
from us - customs was confused. Anyhow by the time we tried to book
tickets
we had to split up."
Obviously the enemy is at work already. To me this seems to indicate the
enemy would like to stop whatever this team is going to do. Surely, this
will have a great impact on people there or the enemy would just ignore it.
PRAISE GOD!!
Pray for this family as Connie travels with the other children. I believe
they plan to stay beyond the time our team will return.

~ Email from Estonia
Jim Hulse is already in Estonia and has been there a few days. He has sent
home a few emails to his wife Connie, who has graciously shared them with
us. What follows are portions of those emails. I've printed all that I
received simply because I found them so informative and think you too will
appreciate the picture they paint of what it is like there.
Hi Hon
Boo and I arrived in good shape.
We are moved into the dairy. We have room with own bathroom and shower.
Here now at studio picking up table and chairs.
Tiit loaned us his pickup truck for a while.
Just returned from the store, bought supper things and pop to drink.
Must hurry. parked by front door blocking things.
Rooms on 4th floor at dairy.
More Later.
Jim & Boo
Hello Honey
Boo and I just returned from McDonalds and checked it out. Had no
chicken on the menu. Frys was real good. Have new play area for
kids.
Tiit led us to the site a while ago. Looks great except for a large
mound in the way for radials, this is not the rock piles they mentioned.
In general I would say it is excellent.
I have selected a new spot for our container. Also a place for the tent.
Site is no doubt off the beaten path. Yes the road has been improved but
may still need help for the big things.
Looked at the transmitter foundations and they are doing great. Crew
working today on them.
We moved our room this morning down to where we wanted to in the first
place from the prints we looked at. Nice corner room with large windows
to allow light and breeze in. The beds we will probably replace with the
ones in the container. Has 2 inch mattress of foam rubber, don't think your
back will like it.
I made drawing of a washer machine and showed Tiit this morning and he
said he would hook it up on the floor below us some place.
Saw 3 trucks pull up below our window this morning and unload milk.
Tiit's dog is with him most of the time, he could have Barren for lunch.
Chads dog.
Have not been to the river yet, to busy.
Paavo said we cannot get to our lap top until Monday or Tuesday. They
are setting up a office room on floor below us where all the e-mails and
phones will be. Not done yet but in a couple days. Kitchen has 2 new 4
burner stoves with ovens in them. They are European small ones. Also
have a freezer by it's self in the kitchen about 1/2 the size of the ones we
have in the garage. Have one new refrigerator , small for our size group.
I am considering taking the one in the container and put in our room.
Please tell Letti about this info on the kitchen.
We will bring the chest of door's in the container for your clothes.
Nothing here to put clothes in. You should also bring a couple small
extension cords, light duty for the TV where we can put under a throw
rug and other places rather that the big construction ones we have. IT
WILL BE VERY CROWDED LIVING HERE.
Boo forgot his shoes by the back door or they will be by the office door
Tell Corey that there are so many girls here, he will love it here
but not as much as I do everywhere you look there is another one.
(Boo here)
He stole my line. I have never seen so many beautiful girls. At the
dairy, there are so many living right in the neighbor hood. Every where
else too.
We stopped by the open air market as they were all packing up, we were
to late.
I think you will like it here. Every place has it's own thing of
greatness. The slow pace here you will like. Definitely country atmosphere.
Can't think of any thing else now. Tell Sunday school hello and pray for
our containers to arrive next week.
Paavo just handed me your e-mail. Already answered most of your
questions. The beds are very small, nothing like we are use to. Like I
said, I plan to bring the ones in the container for us to use. Don't
know about sheets or bedding for those beds, might bring more, don't
know what is in container. Paavo said he must do more paper work on
translating for customs, Cayla has a bed in the room we have. Sheets and
all.
Paavo is hoping we get container next Wednesday.
Love Jim

>>Also, I have been corresponding with the people who are maintaining the
web page for the Tartu Family Radio and want to include some of what they
write. <<
I think, what you could do is making suggestions and looking for mistakes at
our
English page. I have to admit that we have somehow "forgotten" the
English
side of the homepage and updated, corrected errors more at Estonian one. We
just read Estonian version more. What do you think, is there something that
would interest foreign people about our Radio station? Maybe we need some
extra categories? My brother is also thinkig about new layout for Tartu
Family Radio homepage.
>>In one of my emails to him I wrote: " We have been able to listen
to your
station on the internet<<
I'm glad to hear that. Are you using Windows Media or RealAudio format? I
guess the connection isn't too slow if you can listen to us from the other
side of the world.
I'm not building the AM station, actually I haven't even been at the place
they are working. In our house there are AM studios which were built last
summer. My job is to be a DJ in the morning for Estonian program but I have
been helping during the day (and night :)) as well. A lot of time has gone
for setting up a new on air computer PIII and for learning and programming
the automation software BSI WaveStation.
I see that Tartu Family Radio director Paavo Pihlak is really busy with AM
project and he doesn't have even time for our Estonian program. We need a
lot of God's strength here to survive.
With Blessings,
Meelis
