Well, I'm slow but I'm faithful.  Sounds like something one might say of an old dog.... guess I better be careful here!!!  I got this last week and thought I had already sent it out - I obviously had not.

The Hulse's are HOME!!!  This is GREAT in so many ways but now the updates are going to be pretty scarce.... I will continue to update you though as I get news from Dr. Carlson and others.

For those of you who WENT to Estonia - Dr. C sent out an invitation to a dinner/potluck to be held at his home.  The date said October 11th - it should have read NOVEMBER 11th.  Also, this may have to change so don't set any plans in stone yet.  I'll be sure to post any updated information on that and I'm sure Dr. Carlson will let you know of any changes also!!

I have mentioned in the past to please keep the board in prayer.  Especially now it is so needed.  There is still much that needs to be done not the least of which is purchasing the transmitter (or is it a transformer..... hmmm Doc would really want me to write the correct word here but I just don't know the difference between the two.)  I DO know it costs about $265,000 and we need to raise that money.  There of course is so much more that can't be detailed here but please - DO KEEP THE BOARD IN PRAYER.

I'll get this out and try to write more later.

Blessings

From the Hulses

Hi everyone..............

We are home, safe and tired.  So were do I begin for this update ??????????

This truly was a trip home the Lord was in control over.  We (Jim, Tom, Riina and myself) spent all night packing.  Yes believe it or not Jim stayed up all night and helped pack, 1st time ever.   Seems I thought I could get it all done in time.

But.......... plans changed  I had told several of Cayla's friends we had to go to Tartu and would be back at 7pm, they could come by to see her one last time, well we arrived home about 8 because of the interview we did for Tartu Family Raadio (there spelling----not a typo) took longer than we thought.  We were completely shocked........standing out in the cold were about 50 people, children and parents.  I never thought saying good bye to a "few" friends could take so long.  We finally had Riina tell them we wanted to share a few words with them.  We thanked them all for being our friends, we told them we would like them to listen to the interview we had just done, airing Friday night 7pm again Sunday afternoon 1 pm.  I explained how our hearts were heavy, how we felt a burden because we believed if they did not except Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and ask for forgiveness of their sins they would not spend eternity in heaven with us.  I then said I would like to pray with them all and I prayed that I wanted them all to have a personal walk with God, to have eternal life and to remember why we were here.

We all spent the remaining hours packing.  It wasn't like this was the 1st time I had packed but somehow the 10 suitcases we were allowed was not going to hold all we had not packed into the container.  Jim had several suitcases alone of rigging and climbing gear he needed to bring home for a Christian station locally to work on in the next week, and the boys who each only brought one over now needed 2 + to go home.  Seems like Christopher packed both his suitcases with "souvenir's" from the abandoned army bases he had been to and needed room for his clothes. Of course the 20 some kilo's of Tiit's butter and Estonian cheese I was packing had nothing to do with the extra suitcases or time needed to pack.  So to make a long story short we ended up with 17 suit cases and Paavo standing there saying over and over "but you are only allowed 10"

We left at 3:10 am arriving by 5:15 as planned and had our tickets re issued.  As we hauled all 17 pieces of luggage over the Estonian Air ticket agent reminded us we were going to have to pay for all the extra....... "What to do"???  "WHAT TO DO? was Paavo's big question.  I went with Jim to check them all in and figured we needed the Lord's help here, I prayed quickly that things would work out, that we could get by with little extra charges, I mentioned to the agent how she should go easy on us as we had several children that seemed to need more room, how we never were compensated for the luggage that was never found from when we arrived and just making small talk.........by the time we were all checked in every piece was ticketed and marked we were not charged one cent extra.  So with Diamond in a little purse type bag around my waist and 8 fish in my pocket we passed through customs, security and the boarding of the plane uneventful.

The hour flight to Stockholm was a breeze.  Jim noticed when we got to Stockholm all 5 of us were sitting in different parts of the plane.  He went to the SAS ticketing counter and again we saw the Lord working things out.  Not only did we all get seats together but she upgraded us all to business class seats.  Since no one seemed to question the cage Cayla was caring I took Diamond out of her confined quarters and tucked her in the cage we had for her.   Well as we boarded the flight to Chicago one of the flight attendants happen to notice we had a RAT. I said this is a little hamster. We were advised Diamond was going to have to be stored in the bottom of the plane with the luggage.  I had been told weeks ago it could cost up to $150.00  again no charges.  The flight went well and PRAISE THE LORD a little rested. Our next major obstacle would be the bus trip from Chicago to South Bend...Same policy 2 suitcases per person, animals allowed for a price.......the bottom line was extra charges amounted to less than $10.00 extra.  If this isn't the Lord at work I don't know what is.................................

We arrived home about 6 pm tired but thrilled to hear English spoken by all.

What we came to home was grass knee high, mail --------------4 months worth, a dog who couldn't lick and kiss Cayla enough, no food in the fridge.............to tired to cook it anyhow...........3 vehicles we had the insurance put back on yesterday all with dead batteries, a furnace that wouldn't heat and waterbeds we forgot to have someone turn back on so cold............... but safe and happy.   And by the way the 8 fish in my pocket for those of you wondering why I would have 8 fish in my pocket they are plastic that swim like real fish for our fish tank/lamp.

So Good night and God Bless

More in a few days when I rested

Thank you all

Connie
