Waiting on the bus - Ellen & Annette Boley on right, Sharon Morris hiding on the left front, Mitch's Mom is in there too... Wilma Mishler... Eric, waiting for his "Big Boy, Dan", and Dave Mishler. Not seen is Ron - the Incredible Bus Driver, Carol Ledbetter, and the Jost's.
"Oh Dan, I've missed you so much. How is my Big Boy??" Guess you would have to be there to get this but let's just say Eric really hoped to "blend in".
Annette Boley - What a helper and a doll! She tied strings on all the balloons, helped fill the snack sacks, and was glad to see her Dad get home safe and sound.
At first glance this may appear to be a picture of the backs of a bunch of heads.... but if you look all the way to the back of the bus you will see the entertainment committee attempting to fit himself and 50 helium filled balloons in 1 tiny lavatory. That 2 hour delay waiting for the plane to land didn't cause this group any dismay.... just more time for Eric Entertainment & Co.
Bill Morris, the first of our group to come up the ramp. Unfortunately, the setting on my camera got switched from not so good (640X480) to really lousy (320X240) which interpreted means the pictures weren't the greatest before but now they are such poor quality you can hardly recognize who is in them. Guess you'll just have to take my word for it that this guy belongs to our group. Or just ask Sharon Morris - she'll claim him!! Welcome home Bill.
Dan Browning (the guy with hair following the guy in the forefront.) Of all the team, Dan was the most delighted and made such a scene with his pal Eric that the rest of us almost ran and hid. Wow Dan, I never knew you could do the splits after jumping so high!! Were you on the Rally Squad when you were in High School?
That's Cleatus Ledbetter in front, followed by Dr. Jim Carlson (in cognito??) trailed by Chris Jost, barely visible in this picture. (Believe it or not, this photographer was REALLY after a picture of Chris and these other 2 guys just happened to be in the picture. That will tell you a little about the talents of the photographer. Let's just say she better keep her day job!)
Almost everyone in this picture is from our group.... there's the Mishler's, the Ledbetter's, the Kucher's, the Jost's, Jim Carlson's hat above the crowd, the Olney's way in the back and if the picture were better, we might be able to see more but alas.... it's a cheap digital camera. Better than none (barely.)
The Mishler's, the Ledbetter's, and who could miss Mitch Bledsoe's hat??? I heard his mom was there somewhere. I know his wife was too.
Chris Jost with his sister and Dad. A few weeks before Chris left for Estonia, the family cat disappeared - either stolen or... well... gone, never to return. Shortly after Chris left, his sister was asked where her brother was. She couldn't decide if he was at school or with the cat.
since July 17,2000!!
